Fun with Skript

After 4 years of trying hundreds of plugins on various server types, I still most enjoy and appreciate Skript. Latest scripts I have made for my server: Virtual Chests - Access user defined chests from anywhere by using /vc name. CRAZY HANDY

Automated Drop Parties - Broadcasting, joining system, everything. Player Effects - Play many different effects around vip users.

Night Vision - Toggle seeing at night with /nv. SO HANDY.

If you want a script made, i'll usually do it for free, as I can do MOST in a matter of minutes. If it is SUPER complex, like a minigame or something, I may ask for a small donation. Anybody else out there use Skript? Message me some of your favorites you have made.

How do I get players from other countries to join? My server dies at night.

Focus your advertising efforts in other countries. You can put a very successful ad on Facebook and target only players in certain countries and a certain age group.Also, if you bump on planet minecraft, just bump at night for a week or two.

how to make a lobby like shotbow?

    I’m assuming you are asking how to make a lobby to connect you to other servers.

    Shotbow, like many of the larger server networks (including my own) use a proxy server called Bungeecord. Google it. You can also use Lilypad, though I have no experience with it myself.

    Basically, you run Bungeecord just like a normal server, but it has no world. It can take special plugins though. You then set up the config to connect any amount of servers together. When a player joins your Bungeecord server, depending on how you set up your configuration, they are most likely put into your Lobby server. This would be a THIRD server.

    So, in order to have a Lobby and use Bungeecord, you must run a minimum of 3 servers. 4-5 is suggested, as what point is there using Bungeecord for one real server?

    You can google Bungeecord and read up on it.

Use Spigot? Server crashing?

A major 1.7 Spigot build had a time based bug which affected many servers all at once. If you are experiencing issues when more than one player joins your server, simply update to the latest build of Spigot. More information here.

hi i was wondering how many players ur server has??

We have almost 800 likes on our Facebook page, and about 400 registered users on our website.

However, our network is all about community, so we do a large majority of communicating on social media and our forums. In game, we average about 10-20 online at once during a normal day. During the summer, that will pick up to about 15-25.I find that servers with over 30 online at once makes it VERY difficult to have casual server conversations, as well as make friends. For this reason, we keep our advertising down to a minimum and rely mostly on word of mouth.
