That young girl never stood out in her class and didn’t have many friends. She was the type of girl that was scared of being called out by her teacher.
“Mom I want to take this audition.”
That little girl didn’t have any exceptional talent. Her only good point was her smile according to the seven people from the first audience. Just like that, sometimes harshly, sometimes quietly, she fought her dream.
“No no! I don’t want to be the center! I finally made friends, everyone will hate me!”
That little girl was always smiling on stage. During those hard 6 and a half years the little girl made her dream of Tokyo Dome come true. And after the following day, she would welcome her graduation at the Akihabara Theater. She had the most popularity by far, but she also was the most hated in AKB history.
“I won’t cry on stage anymore. If I cry it’s like AKB is crying.”
That little girl loved AKB more than anybody else, until the very end, until that moment, for AKB.
“I am Maeda Atsuko. My charm point is my smile.”
That little girl that I know has become a really strong and mature woman right now. She had showed me that dreams really are come true. She gave us inspiration, a will to fight, and a spirit to keep walking further. Thank you for all your hard work. Just keep fighting further, jump higher and reach your dream. We will always support you no matter what happened.
