Ok, so strange dream time

I had a dream about an AU where Sensei Garmadon lived, and Chen wasn't present. Garmadon had more of Chen eccentricities and love of theatrics (think Movie!Garmadon, honestly), so his dojo was more of a weird dojo/tea shop/noodle shop/dine-in theater abomination (because Wu, Lloyd, Misako, and for some reason Skylor dressed like Clouse was helping to run it too). Patrons got to eat and drink tea while watching Garmadon, Wu and Lloyd reenact Ninjago's history and history battles.

I forgot who I was (or if I was just an outside observer), but Garmadon and Lloyd were bickering because the lighting was off and Lloyd was just trying to roll with it while Garmadon was making a fuss. I don't remember much, but it had to do with how a gigantic head of Lord Garmadon was lighting up for dramatic effect.

Side note: Kai was wearing green and my dream self found it just as jarring and tacky as the actual episode where he did try on the green ninja gi. Don't ask why that little detail stuck out, because I don't know.

Also, no, I have not been watching a lot of Ninjago lately, so I don't know where this dream came from.

Fellow people with Autism who have played Oblivion,

Did it make you paranoid during your first playthrough when the characters changed expressions/attitude on a dime (especially entering or exiting a conversation) because it reminded you of the interactions with people?

Cause, I was thinking about my first experience with Oblivion and when I saved Kvatch, and the citizens (who I hadn't even interacted with yet) hated me and told me to stop talking (I know that they just lost everything, but they would thank me for saving them and would get angry when I would exit out or ask about Martin). I figured out later that it was probably the disease my character got from fighting a bear, but that confusion rocked me to my core when I first experienced it. Reminded me of middle and high school were something I said or my very presence annoyed my peers.

Martin was the only nice citizen to me in that camp, and didn't look pissed off to see me, but that's because he's Martin (Now, killing a charging wolf before it can attack us on the other hand, is a different story).

I'll never forget when/how my hatred for the Thalmor began. It was before I even knew who they were or what they stood for. It was during my very first playthrough, where I was soft-locked from traveling anywhere south of Riverwood because my low level ass (below level 10) was getting bodied by either a dragon that was roaming around the lake and river, or those bastard Thalmor Justiciars spawning whenever I tried to take the road to Falkreath.

I now make sure I carry black soul gems in case I meet any in every playthrough.

Ok, so I know that Martin does EVENTUALLY walk upstairs to sleep (usually around 3 A.M.), but hear me out

What if the Blades or the HOK could carry him to bed if he falls asleep at the table?

Are you going to gently put him on the bed and tuck him in or are you going to drop him on the mattress like a sack of flour?

I can't decide which scenario would be better

Let me share one of my favorite bandit moments in OG Oblivion.

So, I was taking Martin for a walk (gotta take him on a walk to get out some of that bloodlust), and this Khajiit highwayman jumps out and greets Eliezer.

Instead of the usual "gimme money or die" I got "well, well, well. If it isn't the Divine Crusader". I guess he got a warning from some Khajiit ancestors or something because I clicked out of the conversation and he didn't attack. He just hung out in the bushes and let us pass.

My only other guess was that Martin was glaring at him with sheer righteous, and royal fury, so he backed off.

On a side note, I like to draw Eliezer with a slight bit of facial hair despite him not really having it in game (because why not, it makes him look like the pathetic feral cat I picture him being).

And yes, that is Pelinal pretty much haunting Eliezer as a ghost. It rattles Eliezer's sanity as much as you think it does.

The First Oblivion Gate

What compels your HoK to leap into that first gate? Assume for all intents and purposes that it's impossible to pass through it to get into the city. They have no idea if Martin is dead or alive. No one else is coming with them, and plenty have already died trying to close it themselves.

Still a work-in-progress, but here's a Martin I've been working on and off on since last summer

It never fails to crack me up when an Oblivion npc complements you in one breath and then insults you in the next.

It's like they're happy with you, exclaiming: "Hey, you're the Hero of Kvatch! Thank you for closing that Oblivion gate! Thank you for saving me! You're the Divine Crusader too!"

Not even 2 seconds later, and with a look of disgust: "You're a sneaky looking sort..."

Like, ok buddy, next time you're stuck in a cave with a bunch of zombies, I'll remember that.
