Augmented Reality as a tool for Architectural Design--By Li Xintian, Roman Valerio Kochergin, Nie Yunhua
During the whole semester, we are keeping trying to make architecture design more precisely and accessibly with the help of AR.
After the analysis of AR, we find out that it can help the architecture design in more than the following three ways. But we just pick up these three aspects as typical examples to research.

Finally, we decide to make the third aspect as our research topic after several trials of many aspects. It is important for architect and other engineers to discuss during designing. With the help of AR, the discussion becomes accessible and understandable no matter they can use the professional software or not. We believe that 'design by hand' is possible with AR glasses or AR contacts. As we showed in the small video, architect shows his design to engineers to get some suggestions. And the construction engineer and the sustainability engineer give him their advices by changing the model 'directly'. During the changes, the AR calculates the data automatically, allowing people understand everything.
This is the future of architectural design we imagine and work for, with Augmented Reality.

What is the definition of navigation? And what will be like of the future of navigation? We have found the answer of these problems in all semester. We think that the navigation is not only GPS Navigation, but also everything which can navigate in all aspects of human life, and service to human. For example, the Shopping Guide is a kind of navigation, and the information board in bus station is also. And we think that the development trend of the future of navigation is convenient of using and carrying. Our design is made of two equipments, fetching glass and information board. The fetching glass is a microscopic machine on the glass. And the information board is a kind of software in the Mobile Phone. When you want to get any information which you are unknown, please open the machine on your glass (fetching glass).The fetching glass will get the image of anything, then send it to your mobile. The software (information board) will analysis the image, and fetch the information from internet for showing on you mobile. This machine is not only getting the information of real objects, but also anything you can get from the fetching glass. For example, the information of weather, the history of old building and so on. It can save your time, save your money and service your life. Especially reaching a strange environment, you will can get more helping from this machine.

How to do urban plan in the future?
3D map, use Holographic-projection system, replace ichnography, projected 3D images on the simple model.
Make users learning experiences from simulation of urban planning and design.
Doing planning just by drawing lack of three-dimensional space performance. Solid model will cost much time and many materials when the planning scheme need adjustment, also it lack of Urban real color.
3D-map will be a tool that doing planning scheme in a intuitive way. It use Holographic-projection system, projected 3D images on simple models, contain buildings' exact height , materials and color. It can simulate future urban planning scheme, its'development and reproduction in intuitive way. And it can adjust the scheme and simulate the results quickly and easily.
