If I had a nickel for every time a lawyer from a visual novel existed who:

Is morally confusing, which you are supposed to hate at the beginning of the game, but near the end, you can understand their pain and struggles,

Has experience in both the defense attorney and prosecutor fields,

Is evidently wealthy while other characters are known to struggle financially,

Starts off as a snarky, posh, thorn-in-one's-side character, but I'm 99% sure we all called them "sweet, baby boy" near the end of the game,

Indirectly aids an artist-at-heart protagonist who in turn deals with a woman named Maya,

Never had a "true" childhood, so they enjoy some childish things at their age (etc. having a water fight at a beach or avidly watching children's shows),

Unknowingly work under the madman who murdered their closest family member with a gun, who simply killed for their pride/ego,

Is most likely/definitely gay,

I'd have two nickels... which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Ok, first of all, Mephisto looks so adorable and happy in that gif! I LOVE HIM

The second thing is that way after I made this post I remembered that there IS a sprite of Mephisto blushing! You can see it in his video messages for HDD 2022 and the release of NB:

Still, we have yet to see it happening in-game...

Slow Damage: Extra Trivia from Promotional Streams

As of now, it's been at least 3 years since Slow Damage was released. Many have contributed ideas, headcanons, fics, fanart, and whatnot to this masterpiece of a visual novel.

And not long ago, a very generous soul decided to take it upon themselves to translate VERY important trivia from old N+C streams, and share said translation on Reddit.

You can find the translation here. And it is a must-read; while part of it gives mostly trivial information, other parts here are crucial in enhancing your understanding of the narrative and of certain characters.
