Hmm, what?
Sorry, I- I zoned out there. Long shift yesterday. Iâm just... really exhausted. What were you saying before I so rudely almost passed out in my coffee?
bryan-atwood :
âIâm not usually this forward and I have no idea if youâre here with anyone, but I couldnât help but be completely drawn to you, even from across the roomâ would you like to dance?â
âI- Sure. If you donât mind be being completely hopeless on the dance floor.â Auden was on the verge of declining the offer, however, she recognised that voice; though she wasnât sure from where. âSorry, do I know you from somewhere? Your voice sounds so familiar.â Masquerades were so annoying.
j-castillo :
Itâs more stressful than it looks!
More stressful than a courtroom full of idiots that canât even understand basic forensic evidence?
ladiesmanmcfarlane :
I donât even know what this is that Iâm eating but itâs delicious.
Man, my friends better step it up when my birthday comes around because this place is awesome. All the tiny little whatevers make me feel like a giant. This is so cool. And I would know, I am what the kids would call âcoolâ. âAh, hey there fellow partygoer.
Try the weird looking round things, you wonât regret it.
Hey! Captain America! Nice choice. Youâll probably need to watch your back all night though, my brother is definitely going to want to steal that right off your head. But uh... sure. They look kinda gross though. Are you sure?
dylan-moretti :
âDo you know if thereâs any hard alcohol anywhere? All I keep finding is weird tasting wine.â
âUh... I really donât know how to help you. I opted for the little fancy glasses of orange juice. Iâm sure they have more than just wine though... somewhere?â

I wouldnât know, Iâve been here all of ten seconds and all ten have been spent at work. I might as well have just moved my stuff into the office. Youâd think, California, bound not to have these issues but all these towns are the same. Mm⊠Good point. Here⊠[checks her own phone again] Try sitting in my seat, window seems to be doing it some good. Iâm sure complete disaster at the Mayorâs office can be avoided in the time it takes for you to check your emails. Ha, yeah⊠[getting up what an act of human decency we have here] Ella Tyler: never short of struggles.
Bless you, honestly. [scooting on over to her seat, waving her phone around] God, you sound like me. The only time I leave the office is to walk my dog or make sure my brother has eaten. I- Hey! One bar! What are these walls made of; steel? Geez, a complete disaster at the mayorâs office doesnât sound too good though. Is that were you work? Ella Tyler... Hey, I know you. Youâre from my hometown! I was at your sisterâs Halloween party last year. You know, before-... Well, that party probably isnât a good memory for anyone, so letâs just leave it at, hey, I know you.
lydia-baxter :
Of course. Anything to help a friend.
Youâre an actual saint. Bless you. Iâll just take a second. This court date I have keeps changing and Iâve been told to keep an eye on my mail just in case.
steve-mattox :
Youâre telling me, but, hey, youâre Auden. Youâre that badass crime fighting butt kicker. You can literally handle anything thatâs thrown your way. Even being the newbie.Â
Hey, okay, but youâre surrounded by other new guys, you know? Thereâs a full year of new guys at your college. You- [sighs] Yeah, okay. Youâre right again, I am indeed a badass. [laughs] Howâs college been anyway?
mahiraking :
âFeel free to call me Mahi,â with the exception of Jules who would always her Mahi Mahi, she was used to the nickname already. âNever, donât tell anyone but you re actually one of the few I can stand in here,â winking at the girl, she moved herself so they could head to the cafe. âDonât worry, I can keep you some company and Iâll enjoy this time to also use my phone⊠But, okay, maybe grab something to eat would be nice.â
âMahi.â Auden nodded her head once and smiled. The girl may have been her trainer and technically she was paying her for her time, but it was nice feeling like she was at least slightly making friends out here. âAw, bless you. Frankly, youâre my favourite trainer here, and Iâm not just saying that because youâre the only trainer Iâve had.â She laughed softly as she made her way to the cafĂ©. âYeah, you need to eat some time, why not right now? Besides, you can always say youâre giving me a lesson in nutrition if anyone asks why you arenât working.â
ella-tyler :
You took the words right out of my mouth. Try turning your phone on and off, sometimes all it needs is a kick start because not even technology can keep up with schedule. That or, well, it involves a lot of waving your hands around with your phone in it.
Honestly! Is there like a network people need to get when they move here? Itâs like Iâm living in another country at this rate. Yeah, I guess. iPhones are so slow to turn on and off though. Patience is not my strong point. Thanks though. At least I know Iâm not the only one struggling.
lydia-baxter :
I think I have a few bars. Would it help to use mine?
Really? Gosh, that would be so great.
rced :
âyeah, yeah, here you go.â his phone didnât even have a password and his its theme was still the stock, and between his teeth, he jested with half-sensitivities, whistling, âi just hope you didnât park with a tree as your tire stopper or parked over a person, because then i donât think any phone call or email can help you.â
âWoah, I- Thanks, I-...â Auden raised an eyebrow as she looked down at the phone. Was it new or did he seriously like having it like that? âOh, no. Iâm not the parking violator. Iâm the lawyer. My client is really insistent on not paying the fine and, well, there doesnât seem to be many other cases to take in this town.â
mahiraking :
âThe reception is indeed bad at this part of the gym, I would recommend you to get closer to the cafe. It could help you.â
âOh. Thanks, Mahira. Sorry, I must be the worst person youâve ever had to train. Make it up to you? I can buy you lunch while I use the cafĂ© wifi?â
steve-mattox :
Canât you just get off your phone for one hour and enjoy a nice meal with your brother? This pizza ainât going to eat itself.
Yeah. No. Youâre right. Iâm sorry. Things at work are just stressful, you know? Being the new guy kinda sucks.
Does anyone else not get a signal in here?
I have emails. Emails that need read, emails that need sent. Lives hang in the balance here. Well, I mean they could. Right now itâs just a parking violation, but who knows? I canât read my emails.

basics;
full name: Auden Greyson
years of age: Twenty Nine
birthday: April 4th
occupation: Lawyer
faceclaim: Lyndsy Fonseca
personality;
+ hard-working, charismatic, intelligent
- controlling, skeptical, stubborn
extra bits;
Auden loves horror movies; something she inherited from her mother. Despite having practically lived one in her hometown, she still manages to sit through every Scream movie and, frankly, The Following may very well be the best show to ever grace her television. Still though, when people you know have been murdered, your brother stabbed in the leg, and your best friend drugged you and left you for some psychopath, you kind of donât want to leave your house without your giant German Shepherd to protect you.
When her brother, Steve, was accepted into Woodsboro U, Auden insisted on coming along. Of course, half of her reasoning was because she constantly felt like she needed to be there to protect him, but after the year she had she just had to get out of that town. She needs a fresh start and thatâs exactly what sheâs hoping to find here.
secret;
A little over a year ago, Auden was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Her treatment was aggressive and it involved having surgery to remove one of her ovaries and fallopian tubes, but soon she was officially in remission. However, lately the pain in her stomach has been coming back and sheâs too scared to go back to the hospital. She knows that if her other ovary is infected she will have to get a full hysterectomy and that means she will never be able to have children.
most played;
