so I’m pretty sure it’s a common Catholic thing or just a general common thing to respond to “may the Force be with you” with “and also with you” but I took it uncomfortably to the next level

I was in church after I first saw TLJ thinking about Adam Driver in a forcibly pure way cuz jesus was watching and during the whole ‘peace be with you’ bit I just shake hands with this really spiffily dressed normal businessmany dad next to me and I actually said “may the Force be with you” and he solemnly just was like “and also with you” and then i was like ‘wait shit did I rly just-‘ & was completely horrified and then he leaned over and was like “I cried in the parking lot on my wife for like 10 mins after we left the movie” and I was like “yeah man same”

and if that’s not a spiritual experience I don’t know what is
