@badcatholique
a neverending sense of melancholy
you will never learn.
we may have no future but i can never thank you enough for the past you have given me
i live, i weep
tell me something you will soon forget
do you see the wonder in me, or am I just wonderfully convenient?
every new milestone is me coming to terms with not reaching the last one
i just want someone in my corner
i was there for you when you were like me and now that i feel the same way you did, you have disappeared
i wonder if you know that being nice is free
have faith in the things that are both little and good
i am afraid of the new because i am afraid they will treat me like you
i don't think i'm a bad person - i just think i'm invisible
i have so much to say but i find myself voiceless
everything is happening so quickly and i am gaining no ground in this battle
we used to live in each other's pockets. we grew like vines, choking the other with our presence. i wouldn't be me with you, and you wouldn't be you without me. we have drifted and withered and now i don't know anything about you anymore, but i don't know whether to be afraid or be grateful
it’s summer and we take a road trip down the coast in your car. i nearly melt into the seat, it’s so hot. you play your music and i call you a hipster, but we both know i like it. we end up at a secluded beach but the sun has already set. we are away from the city at last and the stars are so clear and beautiful.
