i just want to say that sunni supremacist isn’t a term that a bunch of shia kids came up with and are throwing around, it’s the self-proclaimed title of self-proclaimed sunni supremacist groups. there are terrorist groups in pakistan that proudly refer to themselves as sunni supremacists and assassinate shias, conduct regular massacres of shias. certainly there is nuance in how sunnis benefit from sunni supremacy, depending on their identity within the muslim community– but to say it doesn’t exist at all or can’t be substantiated is not … realistic.
