hi everyone! its been some time since i’ve updated, as i’ve been obsessing over the direction i want to take w/ bamdlocke--and in light of recent events i decided that there were certain aspects of the story that i myself am not (and should not) equipped to tell.

i’m also not sure if bamdlocke would benefit from following nadya and imari’s linear narrative.

instead i’m going to shelve those aspects of the story and will be trying to post more slice-of-life sketches while i figure out where to go from here.

i might do an art dump sometime in the future, thanks for understanding!

my fave au type to think abt for bamdlocke is prob a road trip b/c it so PERFECTLY captures the group dynamic--excitable twelve year old at the wheel b/c video games have prepared them for this exact moment, no need to call the nascar driver hiding in the trunk, we don’t need an amateur at the wheel

anyway drawing the car was horrible and i never want to draw another again

happy to be able to work on this again if only in thirty minute segments every other day b/c these hands are goddamn wrecks now

i had to rework a couple of plot and character missteps but i’ve got most of the lineart done now!

hoping for a 2020 release of the next page but it may come earlier if greyscale colouring is nice to me

it only took like half a year and maybe five scrapped scripts, but its finally looking like i can actually start drawing bamdlocke........... we just have to ignore the fact that i have no idea how to thumb
