One year ago today, LEGGOs came to know that EXID’s leader and main vocal Solji was on indefinite hiatus to recover from hyperthyroidism. For 365 days, EXID have been promoting as four without her.

There were a lot of good and bad moments, in those 365 days. We were sad, we were worried, and we missed our Mama terribly - but we knew it couldn’t hope to compare to how much her girls missed her. When people said terrible, insensitive things about Solji and about the others, we suffered with them. But 4XID held on - and they made it. Despite the pressure, despite the sadness, they pulled through another year and gifted us with two amazing mini albums.

One year later, we can finally hope. We have seen all the progress Solji has made, all the hard work she has put in to heal, to follow her dreams and to be able to do what she loves most with the people she loves most - and if there’s anything the last few days should have taught us, it’s that nothing should be taken for granted. 

In hope that 2018 brings the girls and us all much more happiness and health, LEGGOs will be patiently waiting for Solji and always have her back. When she does come back to promoting, we will welcome her with a smile, knowing how lucky we are to have her with us. 

Stay strong and healthy, girls. EXID is and will always be Better Together.
