i wonder where this headcanon of barba being a neat freak, germaphobe type come from ?? like.... yes i do agree barba is the type who’s real prim and proper but he’s nowhere near being a neat freak ?? like have y’all seen his desk ?? it’s literally always swamped with papers and books, especially when he’s working on a case. even during court his desk is always scattered with files and his briefcase is lazily thrown on his desk. not to mention he literally used a pen to stir is coffee one time ?? i imagine what his home would look like. his dry cleaning is always wrapped in plastic because he keeps on fucking forgetting to put it in his closet. he probably hasn’t washed the dishes in a few days and still has takeout from a few nights ago sitting on his coffee table. he has magazines and books sprawled everywhere because he swears he’ll get to them when he has the time but he just ends up watching fucking gossip girl on netflix

y’all…. this is something i dreaded to do until i realized that i didn’t have any other choice. ok so long story short: at the beginning of the semester i was notified that i was unable to qualify for finical aid because i didn’t meet the academic requirements. please note that this was after i had lost my father, i had gotten severely depressed, and also had pneumonia that lasted two months. i’m in the process of appealing the claim but it’s taking longer than expected. my mother is the only breadwinner in my home and it’s difficult to keep up with bills, food, and now my tuition, books, etc. i managed to get through the first week of college fine until getting books was a requirement. i used whatever i had to get the ones i can afford but i’m …. literally desperate for the others ( history, english, and stat books are HELLA ). not only that, i need some extra cash for transportation, food, and just to help my mom out around the house. currently, i’m on hold for a seasonal job but idk how long that’s gonna fuckin take so here i am.
