Hello. As you may have heard, I'm still alive. I've hit a roadblock, however, and if I don't want to be killed or, worse, lose my funding, I need to get past it. What do you know about immortality? Is it related in any way to a symbiotic organism?

I'm glad you're alive, Heather.
Currently, I'm unsure whether the Immortality I've studied is related to separate organisms in the host. But it's fascinating that a symbiote has been found in your research.
My research of Immortality has come out how you'd expect — the inability to die, quicker healing, etcetera, I won't bother you with the basics. But I've also found some variety in the way Immortality works.
My current study — I won't disclose any information about him; even I respect the privacy of Immortals — has some kind of.. defect in his Immortality. Call him a mutt, if you will, but there's an area on his body where his Immortality does not reach. Though I've heard of cases like this before, I wasn't expecting to see it in action for myself. I'm keen on studying him further, though (when he comes back, that is), so if I gain any new information, I'll be sure to update you.
