I think there’s a reason why non-vegans constantly go for the hypotheticals. It’s always “what if you were on a desert island” this or “what if we found out plants are sentient” that. They’re forever reaching to try and catch us out with an imaginary scenario because they know full well that in our real world situation where there are an abundance of cheap, healthy alternatives, killing an animal just because you like the way they taste is fucking indefensible.
