The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead in the otherwise silent laundry room, casting a low sterile glow on the linoleum floor. The machines whirred softly, the only sound besides your own slow, tired breath. You folded a black t-shirt into a tight square, barely noticing which one it was.
Then the door clicked open behind you.
You didn’t need to turn to know it was him. Simon’s footsteps had a rhythm you’d learned without trying. Heavy boots and a deliberate stride, steady in a way few people could be after fifteen-hour rotations.
He stepped inside without a word, carrying slung over one shoulder an empty small duffel he soon filled with warm clothes straight out of a dryer, before the door even shut behind him with a gentle thud and the quiet settled deeper between you.
You didn’t speak until he leaned against the dryer next to you.
“Didn’t know Ghost did his own laundry,” you said without looking up.
He didn’t answer right away. Just dropped his bag on top of the machine, arms crossed and mask rolled halfway up his face, mouth visible and jaw clenched from exhaustion.
“I make messes,” he said finally, voice low. “Figure it’s only fair I clean ‘em.”
You huffed. “That might be the most domestic thing I’ve heard all week.”
He let out a soft breath, not quite a laugh but you risked a glance at him anyway.
Simon Riley, fatigues rolled at the ankle, sleeves pushed up, skin damp like he’d just showered and mouth soft and drawn with sleep…visible for once. You’d seen glimpses before, on the field when he peeled the mask to wipe blood or drink water, but not like this. Not here, not in the hush of fluorescent light.
You folded another shirt, as he threw his pile next to yours and did the same. “Can’t sleep?”
He shrugged, then glanced at the machines. “Too much noise in the head, this helps.”
You nodded. “It does.”
There was a pause, longer and overall heavier.
“‘Sides,” he added, “figured you’d be here. You always are.”
You tried not to react while keeping your eyes on the pile in front of you but your eyes flicked to his working gloved hands. “You watchin’ me now, Lieutenant?”
Simon grunted, noncommittal, but the corner of his mouth twitched.
For a long moment, neither of you said anything. You just folded in tandem, close enough to feel the residual heat from his skin. It should’ve been awkward…should’ve felt like silence was a void to fill but it didn’t. It never did with him.
You handed him a pair of folded socks that were his without thinking and he took them without a word. After a while, he reached into the single pile now that his clothes and yours mixed and picked something up, a black graphic t-shirt, smaller than his usual size, brows pulling slightly.
“Don’t think this is mine,” he muttered.
You looked over and chuckled quietly. “Because it’s not.”
He frowned, held it up against himself anyway. “Could be…maybe it shrunk”
You rolled your eyes, reaching for it but he pulled it back.
“I’ll hang on to it. Just in case.”
You paused. “You’re stealing my sleepshirt?”
“Borrowing. Temporarily…for morale.”
You snorted, half a laugh, half surprise. “Didn’t peg you as the sentimental type.”
He didn’t meet your eyes, just folded it slowly and deliberately before placing it neatly in his pile.
“I’m not.”
Sure and yet…You didn’t push. You just kept folding, eyes drifting now and then to the exposed line of his jaw. The way he leaned on one arm, once he was done, like he belonged there, like you were his routine…like this quiet was something he sought out, not something he stumbled into.
You weren’t sure when it had started. The quiet check-ins, the shared glances before missions and the way you always seemed to land laundry duty around the same time but you knew you didn’t want it to stop.
By the time you were done, Simon was already zipping his duffel shut, your shirt carefully tucked inside like a secret and you wondered if he’d give it back if you asked, even when you didn’t want to.
He caught you staring and paused. “What?”
“Nothing,” you said with a shrugged and bit back smile.
He watched you, unreadable, then nodded toward the door. “Walk back?”
You blinked. “You’re… offering to walk me home?”
“It’s past two,” he said, like that explained everything. “Could be gremlins out there.”
“I’m armed,” you wanted to reply but didn’t because he knew. You smiled instead, genuinely this time. “You gonna protect me from gremlins, Riley?”
He held the door open for you, lips stretched into the most attractive grin you’d ever seen, before he could pull the balaclava down. “Yes ma’am.”
CW: Light profanity, mild flirting, polyamorous relationship (Ghost x Soap x GN! Reader), implied domestic chaos (cleaning home, etc…), fluff, humor, and slice-of-life antics
It started with a sock.
One crusty, godforsaken sock abandoned in the hallway like a relic of battle. Ghost stared down at it for a long moment, arms folded, one brow raised beneath the mask.
“Whose is this,” he asked.
You poked your head out of the bathroom, toothbrush hanging from your mouth. “Not mine.”
Soap shouted from somewhere down the hall. “Maybe mine! What color is it?”
“It’s beige,” Ghost replied, voice flat as concrete.
“Then definitely not mine,” Soap said without hesitation. “I only wear colored socks.”
You spit into the sink and grinned. “It’s your sock, Johnny.”
That’s when Ghost declared war.
Thirty minutes later, the apartment had been transformed into a battleground of cleaning products, rags, and accusations. Ghost had commandeered the vacuum like a weapon of justice. You had a spray bottle in one hand, a sponge in the other, and Soap had somehow managed to arm himself with a Swiffer and zero dignity.
“I’m telling you, we just let the dust win,” Soap announced, leaning against the wall like a man at the edge of despair. “The floor has seen too much. It’s time we moved on.”
You sprayed him in the face.
He yelped. “Oi! This is an act of violence!”
“You’ve been wiping the same spot on that shelf for twenty minutes.”
“I’m emotionally connecting with it.”
“Wipe harder,” Ghost called from the other room.
“Stop yelling at me through the vacuum,” Soap yelled back.
Ghost didn’t reply, but the vacuum roared to life again like an angry jet engine. The sound of things being aggressively sucked into oblivion filled the hallway. A sock disappeared under the couch. You were pretty sure it was a different sock than before.
You moved to the living room and caught Ghost mid-action, dragging the vacuum with the steely focus of a soldier clearing a minefield. You leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed.
Soap appeared at your side, now wearing a bandana like a pirate and holding a half-empty spray bottle. “I’ve polished the entire TV stand,” he announced proudly.
“It’s glass,” you said.
“And now it’s shiny glass.”
Ghost emerged from under the coffee table, mask askew, hair slightly damp with effort. He looked between you both, narrowed his eyes, and said, “If I find crumbs in the cushions, I’m throwing this couch into the sun.”
“Bit dramatic,” Soap muttered.
“I’m not joking.”
You raised your hands in surrender. “Fine, fine. Operation Deep Clean is in motion.”
And somehow, it actually began to come together.
Ghost vacuumed every corner with surgical precision. You wiped down counters and organized the bookshelf you’d been meaning to get to for six months. Soap, to everyone’s surprise, threw himself into bathroom duty like a man possessed, narrating the entire process with wild, pirate-themed commentary.
“Swabbin’ the deck, cap’n!”
“Johnny, stop calling the toilet the poop deck,” you called back.
“I won’t!”
Eventually, things began to smell like lemon and fabric softener. The windows were open, a breeze blowing in, and music had replaced the vacuum hum. Something upbeat, ridiculous. You didn’t remember who put it on, but Soap was dancing with the mop like he was auditioning for a musical.
Ghost reappeared from the hallway, arms crossed again, surveying the now sparkling floor. He looked unimpressed.
Then Soap dipped the mop dramatically and winked at him.
You laughed and stepped between them, tossing the spray bottle into the basket of supplies. “So, are we done?”
“I haven’t disinfected the doorknobs yet,” Ghost said automatically.
“Jesus Christ,” Soap sighed.
“Later,” you said, grabbing Ghost by the wrist and tugging him toward the couch. “The couch is clean. We’re clean. The war is over.”
Soap flopped down on the cushions, arms wide. “We have defeated the filth.”
“Together,” you added.
Ghost hesitated. Then sat slowly like the couch might still bite him. It didn’t, it just squeaked a little under the combined weight of your chaos.
And the three of you, a little sweaty, a little flushed, settled in with the warm glow of domestic victory.
💚 “Trouble in Flannel” — Dean Winchester x Reader (Drabble, 630 words)
You’re wearing his flannel. Again.
Dean notices the second he walks into the bedroom, freshly showered from a long day of work on the Impala. His hair’s still damp, curling slightly at the ends, and his grey t-shirt clings to his chest in a way that makes you lose your train of thought.
He stops in the doorway, towel slung over his shoulder, and smirks. “You tryna kill me, sweetheart?”
You raise an eyebrow from the bed, pretending not to know what he’s talking about. “Hmm?”
“That flannel.” His voice dips, playful and husky. “That’s mine. And you’re wearing nothing underneath it, aren’t you?”
You roll to your side, showing a little leg. “Maybe.”
Dean groans softly and runs a hand through his hair, stepping closer. “You’re evil. You know that, right?”
You grin. “Only to you.”
“Damn right,” he mutters, crawling onto the bed like a lion stalking prey. His hands find your waist, fingers slipping beneath the hem of the oversized shirt. “Soft,” he murmurs, dragging his palms along your hips. “Warm. Mine.”
You gasp softly at the contact, heart thudding, but before anything can escalate further, he buries his face in your neck and lets out a dramatic sigh.
“I’m too tired to properly misbehave tonight,” he says with exaggerated disappointment, words muffled against your skin. “Guess I’ll just have to cuddle the hell outta you instead.”
You laugh, wrapping your arms around him as he pulls you into his chest, limbs tangling like a mess of heat and lazy kisses. He tugs the blankets up over both of you, then kisses your jaw, your cheek, the tip of your nose.
“I like you like this,” he murmurs, gaze soft now. “Wearing my clothes, stealing my bed, hogging the pillows.”
You nuzzle into him. “You secretly love it.”
Dean presses his forehead to yours. “Nah, baby. Not secretly.”
A pause.
Then: “Also, next time I’m definitely locking that shirt up. Or maybe I’ll just wear it while you’re wearing it. Solve the problem that way.”
You snort. “That’s not how shirts work, Dean.”
He grins. “It is if we try hard enough.”
The laughter between you fades into that quiet hum of comfort that only shows up in the dark, when the world slows down and it’s just the two of you, wrapped up in warmth and each other.
“Night, sweetheart,” he whispers against your lips.
“Night, Dean.”
He shifts, arm snug around your waist, but not before mumbling:
“…still gonna dream about you in that damn shirt.”

warnings: none really, lots and lots of that good ol fluff, mentions of surgery, goofy simon, maybe a little ooc simon (he's high so it's fine)
a/n: i hope this is okay, i'm feeling a bit rusty with my writing but i've finally got back some motivation and energy to do so after the past two months of low energy and bad mental health. if you guys want to know a bit more about it and my mental health (i don't see why anyone would but lmao) let me know, i don't mind making a post about it if you guys want an explanation of some sort or whatever. anywho, sorry this is so short but i hope you still like it!! <3
a/n 2.0: i recently applied for a part time job at a bookstore so y'all pray for me that i get this job because i want it so bad. i am just gonna decide that i WILL get this job, because why wouldn't i?
simon had been out of surgery for just over an hour now, being a soldier you 'd think perhaps he was going under surgery for some kind of wound he had inflicted upon him on the battlefield but no, he was just getting his tonsils removed after a bad bout of tonsillitis ended up with him developing really bad tonsil stones.
so here you were, waiting by his bedside for him to wake up. the doctor and nurses reminded you just as he had gotten out that he may still be a little, well loopy, off of the meds depending on how quickly he woke up. you waited in a chair at his bedside, reading a book when you heard the blankets of the bed rustling just a little.
looking up from your book you see simon starting to wake up and you reach out to grasp his hand, only for him to rip it away from you when his eyes were fully opened.
"uh, si? you okay, hon?" you ask gently, maybe he just wasn't feeling too well after waking up, or perhaps he wasn't wanting physical touch, that happened quite often and you always respected that space he may want when he wanted it.
"don't call me that." simon said, voice hoarse and scratchy from the surgery, he sounded a little angry.
"what?" you questioned, this wasn't like simon, you couldn't understand why he wouldn't want you speaking like this to him.
"i'm taken."
"i know." you replied with a short laugh.
"you should be touching me like that then."
it hit you then, he was woozy from the meds and didn't recognize you. the realization made you laugh a little more. you decided to have a bit of fun with this high version of your boyfriend.
"sorry about that simon. wanna tell me about your partner?"
"oh, (name)? they're amazing, you know they're so pretty. and they're funny too. they always know how to make me feel better, i miss them." simon replies, ranting and raving on and on to you about his partner, about you.
"you love them a lot, don't you?" you ask him with a smile, it felt so nice to hear all these lovely things about yourself, your boyfriend clearly unfiltered by the effects of the anesthesia he was under.
sure he definitely said sweet things to your face, but something about hearing it when he was basically high as shit made your heart pound a little more.
"i love them with my whole heart." simon replies, a goofy little smile on his face.
you can't help but reach out to gently caress his face at those words, body filling up with some much adoration for the soldier in front of you.
"hey! what did i say about touching me. i have a partner!" simon scolds, trying to dodge your touch.
"simon, love... i am your partner. it's me, (name)." you reply with a laugh.
simon takes a good long look at you when you tell him this, he stares at you, looks you up and down before letting out a soft and quiet "oh."
you begin to hear the beeping of his heart rate monitor speed up, his cheeks turning slightly pink as he stares up at you.
you couldn't help but laugh a little more at this. what a sweet idiot. your sweet idiot.
More Simon who doesn’t like being touched but he slowly becomes more affectionate, he seems more willing to bare himself to you, he has a hand on your shoulder blade, it’s very platonic touching, but considering it’s Simon, it’s the equivalent of a French kiss.
Simon rarely kisses you, but you’ve notice that whenever you’re sitting on a counter, he dips his head slightly, temple near your lips. “Where’s my kiss?” He’ll say gruffly.
You smile and press your lips against his hair. “Need ta wash your hair.”
“You do it.” He grumbles.
He loves it, being babied by his girlfriend in a platonic way, you’ve seen each other but never in a sexual way, which he appreciates but you’ve been very strict that nothing would happen until after marriage.
He learns to be vulnerable with you. It actually heals that part of him that he pushed aside thinking he was shameful and dirty for being sexually assaulted but he’s not.
And you handle him carefully. He’s like fractured glass that you’ve remelted and then slowly moulded into a man who is loved. And he is.
You don’t say it. Never wanting to saying first. You show it. Being together for almost two years throughout deployments and such and coming and goings you strive to be there for him. He does the same for you.
“Thanks lovie.” He says as you’re both in bed. You preen under the nickname, snuggling close to him, smiling to yourself. You think that’s the closest you’re going to get to an ‘I love you’. And that’s fine. Simon Riley shows love differently but he does it so there is no doubt in your mind.
You finished night chores in the kitchen after dinner and Simon was laying in bed “enjoying” Manchester match alone, since you were too loud 🙄
Once you get in bed too you toke a look at the screen.
“Unlucky one?” You say softly sitting next to him, he was grumpy, so you kissed him.
He signed not kissing you back, so you give him two more but he leans his head on the side ignoring you.
“C’mon the match is over.”
“No, it’s not. 3 minutes left.” He says pushing your head out of the way.
You kissed him again and again and then again, leaving sweet pecks on his lips. The match was over and he was listening to the after match conference.
“So you’re into this old man more than me? Give me one kiss!” He sighed and bought his lazy hand behind your head pulling you down for a short stamp.
“One more…” You say leaning closer and he kisses you back.
“A bit more…” as you said that he pulls you in a passionate kiss, a slow one.
After you broke the kiss and try to sit back like before, he grabs your arm pulling you down next to him kissing you a few times as he slowly positions himself on top of you.
“Simon it’s already 11:00 pm- Mhh~” he cuts you off.
“Now you got me in the mood, so shut up” he said with his nose against yours looking into your loving eyes before kissing you passionately.
i saw a tiktok of a heavily pregnant woman saying “maybe i dont give him butterflies anymore but i do give him high blood pressure” then they walk by their S/O with a latter and power tools. and i have been thinking about how the guys would react ever since
Oh, anon. This is so cute! I love this. I know the trend you're talking about, but I feel like I haven't seen it with pregnant women specifically, but I find it even more hilarious if it is. I had a lot of fun with this one. Thank you for sending it in!

John Price
“Get off the ladder, cabbage.” John exhales, trying his best to keep his voice calm.
You’re standing just high enough on the ladder to rest your pregnant belly on the top rung. John stands directly behind you, both hands firmly planted on either side of you against the rail. It’s not to support the ladder but to catch you if you fall. A potentially likely possibility since you’re carrying extra weight in front of you. You could easily tip back enough to lose your balance.
“I’m fine, John,” you reply, continuing on as if he’s not worrying.
It’s maddening how relaxed you are, like the potential factor of danger is a completely foreign concept.
“Please,” he emphasizes. “Get off the ladder.”
“Why?” you ask. “I’m more than capable.”
“You are,” he agrees. “But you’re also pregnant.”
“So?”
“Cabbage,” warns John.
“Fine,” you exhale.
John keeps his hands on your hips the entire time. When you’re back on solid ground, some of that tension melts away, but his heart still thumps quickly.
You lightly cup his cheek, batting your eyelashes at him. “Were you worried about me, John?”
John places his hand on your belly. “Worried about all three of you.”
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
Kyle sits at the kitchen table, sorting through the mail. With a heavy sigh, he opens the energy bill, removing the paperwork, reading over the breakdown of energy usage for the month.
From his peripheral, Kyle notices movement. Glancing away from the itemized bill, Kyle’s gaze softens when you walk into the kitchen. You’re pregnant, close to your due date. Even waddling around, Kyle can’t seem to keep his hands off you.
He leans back in his chair, appreciating you for a few languid seconds, then his heart drops into his stomach.
“Damn it all. Put that down, love.”
Kyle shoots out of his chair, trying to calmly but quickly make it over to you.
“I’m fine,” you insist, attempting to walk by. “I can assemble it.”
“No.” Kyle’s tone is firm but gentle. “Give it here.”
His heart is pounding, anxiety spiking from not just the power drill you carry, but the cardboard box full of wood you’re attempting to guide down the hall.
“You sit here.” He points to the chair. “Sort the mail. I’ve got this.”
You slowly ease down into the chair, and Kyle breathes deep, trying to calm his nerves. “Bloody hell, woman,” he mutters.
John "Soap" MacTavish
He hears your footsteps first, and then your voice as you curse under your breath.
Johnny lounges on the sofa, reclining against a fluffy pillow. At his feet are his two-year old twin daughters. On the television, a Bluey episode plays. The girls aren’t watching. They’re smashing their dolls together and running them over with the yellow toy excavator.
Sitting up, Johnny glances over the top of the couch
At first, he smiles. Then frowns. Then launches himself off the couch.
“Put it down,” commands Johnny. “Drop it.” He steps on a doll and winces, wobbling slightly.
You turn toward him, pregnant belly coming into view. You’re carrying a ladder, the large one, and you’re not supposed to be lifting anything over a certain weight.
“Down,” he repeats. “Put it down.”
You roll your eyes and turn away. Johnny makes it to you quickly, grabbing the ladder and placing it on the floor.
“What are you thinking?” he asks. “You’re bloody pregnant.”
“Don’t yell at me.”
“I’m—I’m not yelling,” soothes Johnny, cupping your face in his hands. “But you gave me a right scare, yeah?” He kisses your forehead. “I’ll take care of it. Go sit with the girls.”
Simon "Ghost" Riley
Simon is curled up on the sofa, a precious bundle in his lap. His two-year old daughter rests her head against his chest, gaze focused on the colorful pages.
“He started to look for some food,” reads Simon from The Very Hungry Caterpillar. “On Monday he ate through one apple.” His daughter traces the outline of the apple, and then runs her finger over the caterpillar. “But he was still hungry.”
As Simon turns the page, he hears your soft but determined footsteps. He briefly looks away from the book, his gaze falling on your belly, round and full of his child. Inwardly, he smiles, knowing that the family you’ve created together is about to grow by one.
“On Tuesday he ate through two pears,” continues Simon. “But he was still—”
His voice disappears, and his stomach flips, blood pressure spiking as he watches you turn the corner. You have a step stool tucked under your arm and a drill in your hand.
“Goddamn it,” he mutters, lifting his daughter out of his lap and placing her on the sofa. “Daddy will be back shortly, doll.”
He kisses the top of her head, and then takes off after you. With the added weight, your steps are slow, and it only takes Simon a few strides to walk past you and cut you off before you make it to the nursery.
“What are you doing?” he asks, reaching for the drill.
“Hanging a painting,” you reply like it’s no big deal.
Simon sighs. “Give it here.”
“I can do it,” you insist, turning away from his reaching hands.
Simon plucks the drill out of your hand and holds it out of reach. “Give me the step stool.” With a pout, you surrender it. “Gonna give me a bloody heart attack.”
cw: fluff, cowgirl afab reader x ghost, grumpy x sunshine, clumsy reader
HEADCANON: the team meets Ghost’s little bird
PAIRING: Simon Riley x reader
It all started when Soap, half-joking -- not really -- asked over a pint of that terrible guinness that one of the recruits mentioned that he voiced out a lingering thought out loud,
"So, Ghost. Ye ever gonna introduce us to yer missus? Or is she just some hallucination ye made up tae wind us up aye?"
Ghost, who had never confirmed nor denied anything about his personal life, simply shrugged.
"Pub. Friday. Seven."
Soap thought he was joking.
At exactly Friday, seven-fucking-pm though. Soap. Soap realized he was wrong.
They met at a grimy pub near base. Price was wary. Gaz looked openly curious.
Soap just looked excited, because how normal could Ghost’s wife possibly be? Some goth lady with a death glare? A sniper with a scar over her eye? A shadow in human form?
None of the above.
What actually walked in was—
A tiny woman in a beat-up leather jacket, dusty denim jeans, a battered cowboy hat tilted low over her messy braid. Coupled with a pair of cracked leather boots that clomped across the floor like she owned the place.
Holy shit
She looked like she could ride a bull, shoot a rifle, and kiss you breathless — not necessarily in that order.
She waved frantically the moment she spotted them though — knocking over a chair and nearly tripping over her own boots as she did.
"HEY, SI" she yelled across the entire bar.
Ghost — stoic, terrifying, 6'4" Ghost — immediately straightened in his seat like a teenager seeing his crush.
He actually moved. Stood up.
Went to meet her halfway like she was the only thing that existed.
Soap’s jaw was physically on the table.
This tiny woman. Small. Wiry. Sun-kissed and with the greatest pair of tits Soap has ever seen immediately launched herself into Ghost’s arms like a missile. He caught her easily -- of course -- one hand on her lower back, the other ruffling her tousled brown hair with ridiculous tenderness.
Leaning down to let her smack a kiss right onto the cloth of his mask like she couldn’t give a single shit about what people thought.
She yanked the brim of his hat down over his eyes — wait! when had he gotten a hat?? — and laughed that big, reckless, wild West laugh that turned every head in the pub.
The team stared in horror and awe.
"This can’t be real," Gaz muttered. "I’m dreaming. I died in Syria."
"She's so small," Soap whispered back, scandalized. "And she’s—she’s—hot??"
They made it back to the table, Ghost’s hand resting casually on her hip like a leash.
When they made it back to the table, she shoved Ghost into a chair, plopped herself onto his lap without ceremony, and grinned at the rest of them.
"Howdy, boys," she said, tipping her hat.
Soap almost cried.
She was absolute chaos.
Stole the darts right out of the wall and challenged Soap to a game ("loser buys shots, city boy" "'m from Scotland, lass" "Cattle country ain't like sheep country, sugar" "we have cows. They moo too").
Gaz: "You're so fucking stupid mate"
Soap: "Shut it aye?"
Flirted shamelessly with Ghost across the table — calling him "sugar," "cowboy," and "my big strong man" with zero shame in her Southern-twanged voice.
Told Price he looked like a "sheriff with a broken heart."
Somehow wrangled Ghost into a pool match where she used him as her pool cue guide — pressed up against him, his huge hands guiding hers, while she winked at the others over her shoulder.
Ghost never smiled. Never joked. Never talked much.
But with her?
He was... different.
Softer.
More human.
Maybe even a little helpless, the poor bastard.
Price, to his credit, kept a straight face. Barely.
Soap, meanwhile -- after losing to her on those stupid darts and took on the challenge of guzzling down the said shots -- was vibrating with suppressed laughter.
She was chaos. Pure, distilled chaos — loud, funny, mean, fun, but also wildly affectionate. She stole a chip off Gaz and a stranger's plate without asking. Shooed off two creeps with a death glare who wouldn’t stop pestering the girls at the counter. Challenged the bouncer -- a hulking and massive bloke -- to arm wrestle and actually fucking won! Spent half an hour helping to take pictures of an old couple on a vacation to send to their grandkids. And started a chant for Price to shotgun a beer (he declined, though grimly but... endeared).
And through all of it, Ghost just... watched her.
Silent. Steady.
The same way he’d scan a perimeter — except more devoted. Soap swearing that he could even see him smile behind the mask.
At one point, she tugged on his sleeve and whispered something in his ear that made him let out a genuine, low chuckle.
An actual laugh.
Gaz's drink came out of his nose at that and Soap almost passed out from the shock.
By the end of the night, they were all completely obsessed with her.
(And slightly terrified. She challenged another guy twice her size to a pull-up contest and won.)
As they stumbled out of the pub, she looped an arm around Ghost’s waist and shouted, "THIS IS MY HUSBAND! HE’S BIGGER THAN YOUR HUSBAND!"
at absolutely no one.
Ghost didn’t even blink. Just tugged her closer and murmured, "Alright, birdie. Inside voice yeah?."
"YOU LOVE ME BABY," she hollered back.
"Yeah," he said simply, not caring who heard. "I do."
And if anyone at the pub dared to stare — well,
nobody wanted to make eye contact with a man wearing a skull mask who looked like he could bench-press a car and the woman who looked like she could drive said car through you and still smile while doing it.
Soap later: "Lass is unhinged aye?."
Gaz: "You’re just mad she drank you under the table, mate."
Price: "I like her. She’s good for him."
Soap: "Naw, like... she’s pure mental. He’s just as daft. It’s a match made in hell, I’m tellin' ye.
Ghost, hearing them gossip:
(Just shrugs.)
"I like her loud. Makes it easier to find her."
The difference between hookup!ghost and husband!ghost
NSFW - MDNI
This man has had a fair share of hookups in his life before he decided to settle down. He never intended on it, but when he saw you he knew he had to change his ways. You were just too perfect to pass on or throw out for a new girl.
You brought out a gentle, nurturing side of him that even he didn’t know existed. His rough hands touching you so gently that he surprised himself. He’d make love to you, a selfless man that attended to all your needs. Out, and inside of the bedroom.
He’d take his sweet time with you, legs over his shoulders as sucked and nibbled at your clit. His tongue lapped shamelessly at your wet cunt, occasionally dipping into your dripping hole. His fingers thrust in our out of you, brushing past your g-spot over and over again.
He’d draw out your orgasm, all four of them before he’d line himself up with you and slowly thrust in. He wanted you to feel every inch stretching you out, every vein in his thick cock, until he fully bottomed out.
With your legs around his waist, and his lips right next to your ear, he’d tell you just how good you were. “My perfect girl…doin’ so good f’me”. “Let me hear ya”. “So beautiful, all of ya”.
Then, there was ghost before you. A completely different man. Much more reckless, careless and rude. He wouldn’t waste time on your pleasure. These fucks were for himself, pushing you down on your knees to destroy your throat before he’d destroy your pussy.
Once he got his dick wet, he’d pull you up and throw you onto the bed. He didn’t care much for the intimacy. He’d press your face into the mattress, your ass sticking out in front of him. He’d harshly thrust into you, immediately setting a rough pace as his hand lands on your bare ass.
“Such a fuckin’ slut”. “Can ya take all o’ me?”. “Takin’ me like da good whore ya are”
His incredible stamina never faltered, though. He was able to go multiple rounds both before and after he was all ‘wifed up’. Except now, he’d leave the both of you satisfied and spent.
Although you’d love to experience his feral side someday.

I didn’t expect my first work to get the love it did lol 😟 so here’s another one!! ignore mistakes thank you
“well, for your skin—they’re suppose to help with it. for example, the one that i’m using right now is for hydrating the skin specifically.”
he blinked. “can i try one, bon?”
grinning, you immediately agreed. “of course, johnny. go and pick one.”
looking down at all the different types of face masks in front of him, johnny didn’t know which one to pick. clay? sheets? mud? what the hell is the difference?
“lass, which one did ye use? i’ll just do tha’ one.”
picking out the mask you’re using, you also pointed out one with a print, “this is the one i’m using or you can use this one too—they’re the same except that one has an animal print.”
“animal print?”
you nodded. “yeah like you’ll look like a cat when you wear it.”
he immediately lit up. “oh yeah i want tha’ one then.”
your eyes crinkle happily before picking up the face mask with the cat print and ripping open the packaging. taking the mask out carefully, you unfold it and place it onto johnny’s face, taking care to try and smooth out the mask.
“fuck, this shite is cold.”
laughing lightly, you get your phone to show johnny how he looks. “what do you think, my love?”
“jesus, this looks nothin’ like a fuckin’ cat. sure this ain’t some sort of alien mask, lass?”
amused, you bite your lip to keep from laughing. “you look absolutely lovely, johnny.” he narrowed his eyes at you, making you let out a snort. “it’s true!”
his shook his head. “gotta tell the lads ‘bout this cat-alien-shite.”
you nodded in agreement. “already sent them a picture of you.”
johnny snapped his head to you. “wha?????”

You and Soap had never though of having kids, always a weird topic to bring up with him. That was until you two were at a baby shower, with all the kids running around the both of you sat next to eachother with his hand on your thigh.
You and Johnny had been married for a few years now, and he was finally off deployment for a month. You both sat at your nieces birthday party, watching all the kids running round laughing.
“These kids are adorable.” He glanced at you, slightly embarassed he even mentioned it “Forget what I said, dinnae mean anythin.”
You smile and observe the kids, “They are adorable.” He stares at you silently for a moment, then speaks “Have..have you ever though about having kids?”
You chuckle and nod “I’ve always wanted kids with you, there was just never a time to bring it up.”
He blinks in surprise, and fiddles with the hem of his shirt, obviously nervous. “It’s been on my mind recently, with some of the guys having kids of their own, it’s got me thinkin ya know?”
You look at him and smile, “I would love to have a little one with you.”
Soap chuckles and nods “Well, do you think anyone would notice if we crept away back home?” You smile and stand up, leading him back to the car to go home.
You are in bed, doggy style with his cock fully in you, gently rocking and grinding into you. “What do you th- f-fuck.. think of Ellie? for a g- shit! girl?” He asked grinding and gasping.
You were throwing out baby names while he was balls deep inside you. “F-fuck.. Ellie’s good..” You gasp when he hits your g-spot before continuing. “Or ma-aybe something like Amira?”
You throw around names for a while before he cums and pushes it deep into you. You stay cock warming him for the rest of the night while you talk about what the future baby would look like.
He nuzzle into your neck “She’ll have your eyes, I just know it” You raise a brow “What about a boy?” He hums in though and press a small kiss to your neck “He’ll have your hair, and my eyes.”
You talk for hours before falling asleep together, dreaming peacefully of your future family.
he doesn’t even look up from his phone when he says it.
just sprawled across the couch, one arm behind his head, legs spread like he’s on a throne instead of a beat-up cushion that still smells like smoke and sweat.
“ya know, if you’re gonna walk around like that, you oughta be ready to get fucked.”
you freeze. halfway across the living room, wearing nothing but a big t-shirt and the tiniest pair of shorts you forgot you even owned.
“like what?” you ask, already feeling the heat crawl up your throat.
he finally lifts his gaze.
smirks.
“like a mouth-watering little tease,” he says. “jesus. i can see the crease of your pussy from here.”
you make a shocked sound—half gasp, half laugh—and wrap your arms around yourself like that’ll help.
he scoffs.
“don’t act shy. you bent over the fridge earlier like you wanted me to notice. ass all high, thighs squeezin’ together like you were tryna get off on the cold air.”
you open your mouth to argue, but he cuts you off, lazy and cruel.
“if i pulled your shorts down right now, you’d be wet already. bet your fuckin’ panties are stickin’ to you.”
you stare. breath caught in your chest.
he grins wider.
“c’mon. lemme see. won’t even touch. just wanna take a look. see if i’m right.”
his eyes drop, heavy-lidded and hungry.
“you do like it when i talk like this, huh? your nipples are hard.”
you cross your arms tighter, turn to walk away, but his voice chases after you—
low and amused and absolutely depraved.
“run off if you want. just know the second i hear that shower start, i’m gonna be sittin’ here jerkin’ off with the door open. loud. so you know what you did to me.”
Allergies have been kicking my butt lately. Height of that came a couple days ago when high winds really pushed around a lot of dirt and pollen. All I wanted was a nap and someone to cuddle with. Hence, the creation of this story.
Who better to cuddle up with than two super soldiers?
Relationship: Steve Rogers x Bucky Barnes (Stucky) x Female Reader
Word Count: ~1800
Summary: Steve comes home to find you curled up on the couch with Bucky, napping to reduce the affects of your allergies. Fluff and more cuddles ensue in this slice of life piece.
Warnings: Slightly worried Steve and Bucky; (over)protectiveness activated; comforting each other; teasing; established relationship; lots of fluff; Steve POV
A/N: As stated above, this story was wholly inspired and written quite quickly, so any and all mistakes are my own. Just wanted a bit of fluff to make myself feel better and this is what came out of that.

A too-quiet apartment greeted Steve when he came home that evening.
When he would've called out, his enhanced hearing picked up the faintest of hums. Following it, he soon found himself upon a scene that tugged at his heartstrings.
Bucky lounged across their over-sized sofa with you laying across him, completely dead to the world. If he squinted, Steve could almost imagine the thinnest, cutest line of drool seeping from your slightly parted lips onto Bucky's shirt. One of your arms rested somewhere between yours and Bucky's body, but the one Steve could see had sneaked its way under Bucky's shirt, caging Bucky under you. No doubt you sought the warmth of his skin, something you often did when you weren't feeling well.
While you slept, Bucky had one arm draped protectively across you while the other held one of his favorite books. The book had pages threatening to leave what little binding kept them in the right place, but that never stopped Bucky from picking it up again and again. From the looks of this one, Steve would be searching out a replacement soon enough. Bucky's gaze would drift over to you every other line or so, just because he could.
The TV played some show that you'd gotten into recently, replaying one of the older episodes. The volume turned down low so it wouldn't bother your rest. Knowing you as he did, you probably had it up while you fought to stay awake, leaving Bucky to lower it once you were completely out.
Leaning against the wide opening from the hallway, Steve crossed his arms and just enjoyed the scene before him. If he had his sketchpad, he might've taken up residence in the nearby chair and sketched until he had both of you permanently down on paper, a memory no one could take from any of you. But, he didn't so he settled for mentally drawing this moment to revisit later.
"You gonna keep staring at us, or you actually gonna say something, punk?"
"Admiring the view." Steve pushed off the wall and crept closer, taking care not to disturb your slumber. "How long has she been out?"
Bucky closed his book though his attention focused solely on you for a moment. The arm holding you drew soothing patterns on your back as he mumbled, "About an hour or so. Found her trying to fall asleep at her desk in the office."
Sinking into a squat, Steve dropped a quick kiss on Bucky's forehead before turning his full attention on you. He could make out your red, slightly swollen nose as well as the puffiness that lingered around your eyes. The softest snores left you, telling him that your allergies had truly gotten the best of you.
"Her meds not working?"
Bucky shook his head. "I don't think she's been keeping up with them like she should. Her bottle's almost full, and it's almost a month old."
Steve's brows drew together. It wasn't a secret that your allergies could get bad, and you were usually on top of taking your medication to keep them from overwhelming you. Plus, you knew they worried about you whenever you weren't feeling up to your usual self.
"She took some before I made her lay down with me." Bucky's voice broke through Steve's thoughts. His own worry peeked through despite usually being the more level-headed of the group when it came to these matters. "Maybe it wouldn't be the worst to take her in and see if there's something a bit stronger out there. Nothing over the counter seems to help her anymore."
"I'll call Dr. Cho." Steve pushed to his feet, pulling his phone from his back pocket. "If she can't help, then she'll know who we can talk to."
"Tell her our girl didn't sleep well last night either. She tossed and turned pretty good. I'm that didn't help."
"Or you two can stop worrying and just let me sleep for a little longer," you groused, having been roused by your bladder to hear your boyfriends fretting. "It's the wind. Once it stops blasting away and blowing pollen around, I'll be back to normal."
"Sweetheart," Steve started.
Having had this conversation before, you lifted your head until your gaze could meet his. A steely determination stole over your features that had Steve stopping in his tracks.
"I'm going to be fine," your tone softened as you moved to capture Bucky's eye as well, "I promise."
"One week," Steve vowed.
You nodded, knowing he meant it. One week to get better, or they'd be taking you to the doctor. The last thing they wanted was to lose you when they'd worked so hard to rebuild their lives after having their old ones ripped away from them.
"Now, that's settled," you pushed up from your position against Bucky, "I'm going to the bathroom. Then, we're going to discuss dinner. I'm too gross to be touching food, so I'll let you two roshambo to see who's got kitchen duty tonight."
The bedroom door had barely closed behind you when Bucky turned towards Steve. His expression morphed into one of the softest looks he kept solely for his two loves. "Don't worry about it. It's my turn to cook anyway. Besides, you look like you could use some of her cuddles."
"You sure?" Steve couldn't help asking.
While the day hadn't been bad per se, it hadn't been a great one, either. So many reports had been perched on his desk first thing. All needed his immediate approval before missions could move forward. Sure, that was typically either Fury's or Hill's job, but they'd both gone on some mysterious vacation, leaving him to handle it.
Then, there'd been a small crisis or two where Tony's latest invention had gone a bit awry. It wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't set Banner off, transforming him into the Hulk. A quick call in to Nat had helped, but it'd taken some time for Hulk to fully retreat and allow Banner the chance to return.
To say Steve was a bit wired would be an understatement.
Bucky tapped his shoulder, pulling Steve from his thoughts. "Yeah, I'm sure. Let her help you."
As if summoned, you stepped out of the bedroom. Your appearance looked a bit more put-together than it had when Steve first arrived home. Hair dampened and your face scrubbed. While your eyes still retained a bit of puffiness, they remained bright and alert as you closed the distance between you and Steve.
A cheeky smile flitted over your features as you asked, "Bucky lose, or did you pull rank on him?"
"He offered actually," Steve huffed, shooting you his best glare.
It had little effect as usual, but that didn't mean he didn't try now and then.
Your fingers slid between his and gently tugged him closer.
He went willingly.
His free hand dropped to your waist when you rose on tiptoe and pressed a kiss to his jaw. Your gaze roved over his features. A soft frown formed as you murmured, "You're looking a little piqued yourself. Off day?"
"Something like that, sweetheart."
A soft noise escaped you. Your hand tightened around his as you tugged him toward the couch.
"Koala or weighted blanket?"
Steve's entire being sagged at the way you so easily read him. He honestly had no clue what he'd do without you and Bucky in his life, and he really didn't want to find out.
Bending slightly, he pulled his hand out of yours so he could grip you around the waist and lift. Your arms and legs wrapped around him without hesitation, allowing him to do what he wanted most. He dropped onto the couch, his legs stretching out on the floor. His arms snuck around you to hold you as close as he possibly get you while his head sank to your shoulder.
Your fingers inched their way up his neck until they scraped against and through his hair. Soft kisses pressed into his shoulder and neck where you could reach within the cocoon of his arms.
"I'm sorry," you whispered at some point, breaking the silence that had settled between you. "I'll do better about taking my allergy meds. It's just been a crazy week, and I hadn't meant to forget. It honestly didn't hit me that I had until the winds kicked up a few days ago. Please, don't worry about me."
Steve tightened his hold. "Always gonna worry about you, sweetheart. That's what you do when it's the people you love."
"Okay, that's a fair point, but I'm still going to do better. I don't want you to worry unnecessarily." You pulled back enough to meet his gaze. In the same cheeky tone as earlier, you added, "How's that?"
"Better," he murmured, shaking his head and huffing with pure affection.
You must've been satisfied because your cheekiness turned impish. "You are quite tense, Captain, and Bucky missed his workout because of me. It seems only fair after dinner that we have a special training session. Get all these kinks worked out and make sure you both stay in top physical form. What do you say?"
As if to further your suggestion, you wiggled in his lap until Steve moved his hands to grip your hips. A groan slipped past his lips when you managed to wriggle once more before he could fully keep you still.
Stealing a quick but searing kiss, Steve's grin grew. "I'd say I hope you've kept up your stretching routine, sweetheart, because it's going to be a long training session tonight. May even last until the early morning before I'm fully relaxed."
"Oh, my poor Captain," you crooned sweetly, pressing a kiss to his lips. "We won't stop until you and Bucky are fully satisfied."
"And what about you, sweetheart?"
"Oh, don't worry about me," you pressed another quick kiss to his lips before trailing down his jaw towards his neck, "I know I'll be properly taken care of in more ways than one tonight. My two super soldiers never let me down."
"Damn right, we don't," Bucky said from the doorway. "Dinner's ready. Better eat up fast because that special training starts in an hour."
Steve let you scoot out of his lap after claiming one last kiss, patting your butt as you moved towards the kitchen.
You tossed Bucky a salute, saying, "Yes, sir, Sergeant."
Steve's heart had never felt so full as he watched Bucky sweep you up, your giggles spilling out as you traded kisses with him before he sat you like the precious being you were in your spot. All three places had been set while he'd held you with the small candelabra his mother had left him burned brightly with the new candles you'd chosen a few weeks ago.
Ghost x f!reader (reader is a knitter and knits items for all the tf141 boys)
The mess hall was quiet, save for the soft clinking of cutlery against trays and the occasional murmur of conversation. You sat at your usual spot, a ball of yarn in your lap, currently working on a swatch for your next project. Knitting had always been a way to unwind, a small slice of home amidst the chaos of the barracks.
Soap sat across from you, elbows on the table as he watched your hands move. “Dunno how you do it,” he muttered, squinting at the intricate pattern forming. “Looks complicated.”
“It’s not,” you said, lips twitching. “You just don’t have the patience for it.”
Ghost, seated beside you, let out a small, amused huff. Neither of you had told the others about that time he came to your room asking you to teach him, rather unsuccessfully. You kept the mess of wool he’d created, never bothering to untangle the mess.
Price was at the end of the table, reading over a report, and Gaz was busy demolishing his second helping of whatever cake was on offer today. It was a rare moment of peace.
Until some new guy, a younger recruit, strolled in and spotted you.
He paused, a smirk tugging at his lips. “Knitting?” He let out a short laugh. “Didn’t realize we had a fucking grandma on the team. Get a life, am I right?” The patronising tone dripping like honey.
You barely reacted, too used to comments like that. But what surprised you was the way the entire table shifted.
Soap leaned forward, forearms resting against the table, a slow, wolfish grin spreading across his face. “You wanna say that again, mate?”
The recruit hesitated, glancing between them. “I mean—it’s just—” He chuckled nervously. “It’s an old person’s hobby, yeah? Didn’t think someone in this line of work would be into that kinda thing.”
Price exhaled through his nose, shaking his head like he couldn’t believe the sheer stupidity unfolding before him.
“It was just a joke, dude.” Looking around for someone who would come back him up, he shifted uncomfortably on his feet again.
Gaz wiped his mouth with a napkin, then leaned back in his chair, gesturing toward you. “Tell me, mate—what kind of hobbies do you have? Anything as useful as hers?”
The recruit blinked. “Uh…”
“Didn’t think so,” Ghost muttered, setting his mug down with a dull thunk. His voice was even, but there was an edge to it, something dangerous.
The guy’s shoulders stiffened.
And then, as if to prove a point, Soap rolled up the sleeve of his combat shirt, revealing a thick, fingerless gloves with ‘soap’ lettered across the top of both knuckles. “Made this for me last winter,” he said proudly. “Bloody lifesaver in the cold.”
Gaz grinned and tugged at his beanie. “This too. Custom made.” It did have a small Union Jack you had painstakingly knitted into the hat.
Price, without looking up from his report, casually lifted his mug. It was wrapped in a snug, knitted cozy, complete with the Task Force’s emblem on it.
The recruit’s mouth opened, then closed.
And finally, Ghost—of all people—reached into his vest and pulled out a small, neatly folded black scarf. He didn’t say a word, just let the recruit see it before tucking it away again.
Silence.
The guy swallowed. “Right. Uh—sorry.”
“Don’t apologize to us,” Price drawled, finally glancing up. “Apologize to her.”
The recruit turned to you, looking thoroughly embarrassed. “Uh. Sorry.”
You simply looked up at him, gave him a once over and nodded once before picking up your needles again. “Apology accepted.”
The table remained silent as the recruit awkwardly shuffled away.
After a beat, Soap snickered. “Bloody idiot.”
Gaz smirked. “Think he’s gonna ask for a scarf next?”
You shook your head, amused. “Doubt it.”
Ghost, still quiet, reached over and picked up the ball of yarn beside you. He turned it in his hands, gaze unreadable beneath the mask. Then, voice low, he murmured,
“Why doesn’t mine have a personal touch?”
At your confused look, he gestured to Price’s mug cosy. Your cheeks heated, you had assumed he wouldn’t want anything like that and honestly it had felt too personal of a gift to give to Ghost, too telling of your feelings towards him.
He was more important than the others to you, you’d trust him with anything, everything.
“I have a pretty obvious motif you could’ve used y’know.” His shoulder knocked into yours, careful not to jolt you too much and make you drop a stitch. “Make me another one.”
You met his eyes, warmth curling in your chest. “Yeah,” you said softly. “A balaclava this time maybe.”
His eyes lit up with something at the idea, “you wanna borrow one as reference?”
Your eyes snapped down to the balaclava he currently wore, hiding the man underneath just out of view. The hint of full lips and a strong nose. The idea of having something so integral to him, it stopped your breath in your chest.
“Ok.” You pushed the word out, nodding at him when he told you he’d get it to you later.
————————————————————————
The rec room was unusually quiet tonight, the usual rowdiness dialed down to a low murmur. A football match played on the mounted TV, a few soldiers half-watching as they lounged across mismatched chairs.
You were tucked into the corner of the couch, legs curled up beneath you, the crochet hook you were using consuming your little bubble of focus.
The balaclava was coming along well, the skull design starting to take shape. It was a labor of love, every stitch precise, carefully crafted to match the one Ghost always wore.
You were mid-row when a familiar shadow loomed over you.
“What’s this, then?”
You startled slightly, fingers tightening around the yarn as Ghost settled onto the couch beside you. He sat close—not unusual, but close enough that you could feel the heat of him even through your layers.
You shifted, subtly angling yourself away from his line of sight. “Nothing.”
Ghost hummed, clearly unimpressed. “Doesn’t look like nothin’.”
You didn’t dare look at him, keeping your eyes fixed on the crochet in your lap. “It’s a work in progress.”
A pause. Then, “That the balaclava?”
You bit your lip.
When you didn’t answer, Ghost shifted.
You barely had time to react before he dipped his head, trying to peer over your shoulder. You turned quickly, twisting the fabric away from his view.
“Ghost,” you warned.
He leaned in further, voice low with amusement. “Just wanna see.”
“You cant see,” you shot back, tucking the project behind you to shield it from view. “Not yet.”
Ghost exhaled a quiet chuckle. “Bit dramatic, don’t you think?”
“You’re the one trying to peek.”
You expected him to back off, maybe let it go—but of course, he did the opposite.
With zero hesitation, he reached out, fingers brushing over yours as he gently—not snatching, thankfully—tried to pull the item away from your grasp.
You shot your arm out, keeping the yarn out of reach, and before you could react, you lost your balance.
One moment, you were dodging him. The next, you found yourself pressed against the arm of the couch, Ghost leaning over you, one hand braced beside your shoulder with the other reaching towards the yarn you held outstretched.
You both froze.
It wasn’t that different from combat training, really. Close quarters, tangled limbs, the familiar weight of his presence pressing into your space. But this wasn’t training.
You had touched each-other before, it was familiar.
What wasn’t familiar was how it felt.
Your breathing hitched as Ghost’s gaze met yours, dark eyes dominating your vision. His fingers were still grazing your hands, barely there, but enough to send heat curling through your spine.
Your heart pounded, your skin prickling with awareness. You swore his gaze dipped—just for a second—to your lips before snapping back up.
Then, just as slowly, he eased away. “Fine, have it your way, Love”
The moment passed, dissipating like smoke, ease replacing the tension.
You sat up, straightening the yarn in your lap, fingers slightly unsteady as you smoothed out the yarn now carefully hidden behind your raised knee.
Ghost exhaled a soft chuckle, shaking his head. “All that just to keep me from seein’ something I know you’re making f’me.”
You let out a breathless laugh, shaking your head. “You started it.”
He hummed, gaze lingering for a second longer than necessary before he leaned back into the couch, settling beside you like nothing had happened.
You settled more comfortably, not bothering to hide the project any longer. If he inspected what lay in your lap, he hid it well.
Conversation passed easily between you both as you continued your rows. The warmth from him seeping into you through your legs that was pressed against his side.
Based on this request: Would you maybe do a fic kind of based off Dosed when the old lady puts LSD in the brownies? Eddie and/or Buck x reader. Maybe the reader has anxiety and takes Xanax so the LSD interacts badly and she gets really sick. Also, maybe she's the only one who eats a brownie before the tones go off so she's the only one that gets drugged.
"Mm, these brownies are delicious, Buck!" You hum around the chocolatey goodness exploding in your mouth.
"I'd love to take the credit, but I didn't make these. I think they were a gift." Buck answers. He and Eddie walk over to grab some brownies for themselves, but just then, the bells go off, making them drop it, before everyone run towards the engine.
Once everyone was en route, you stare at Chim sitting across from you, and ask casually: "Chim, you have a brother?"
Chim looks at you like you have two heads. "Yes, you've met and hung out with Albert many times."
"No, not him. Your twin brother."
The rest of the 118 listen, equal parts amused and perplexed.
"You know something I don't, Y/N?" Chim asks.
"The one sitting next to you. There's two of you." You giggle. You then stop suddenly, taking Hen's hands in yours. "You have a beautiful aura, Henrietta." You state in the most serious tone.
"Cap..." Eddie starts, concerned. Bobby looks back with an equally concerned look from the driver's seat.
Hen looks at your dilated pupils and notices your elevated heart rate. "I think those brownies were dosed, Cap."
-------------------------
You wake up a few hours later in a hospital room, groggy and like you were coming out of a horrible fog. Bits and pieces were coming back to you, but both your body and brain felt like they were working in slow-motion.
"Hey." A voice murmurs softly. You take note that both Buck and Eddie were there, one on each side of your bed. You would bet good money that the two of them had been by your side for hours, wanting to help in case you woke up feeling anxious or paranoid.
"Hi." You croak out.
"You feelin' okay?" Buck asks, concerned bright blue eyes surveying your face.
"Jury's still out." You say, but give him a reassuring smile nonetheless.
"Here, have some of this." Eddie holds out a glass of something blue. You accept it and down it happily, the cold liquid feeling refreshing going down your throat.
"You scared us." Eddie says.
"I scared myself. Think I've sworn off brownies for the foreseeable future." You joke half-heartedly.
"Maybe we stick to Buck's baked goods for now." Eddie says with a tender smile.
"I'll make you a giant double chocolate chip cookie once we get you out of here." Buck beams, relief marring his features.
Hey, can you do something with where the reader is pregnant in mafia stucky and Bucky and Steve are super protective about her?
Xoxo
Our Little Bean // Mafia!Stucky x Fem!Reader
A/N: Thank you for your request, this has been requested quite a few times by many people so I hope you do enjoy!
Important note for readers: I'm currently working within maternity services within the UK so the pregnancy side of this is all based on a UK perspective but it's set in the US so apologies if anything is different over there. Also, the signs and symptoms are based on my bestie's pregnancy so thank you for letting me use these!
ALSO: I'm sorry if I don't do any more pregnancy/baby fics, I wanted to just do this one and return to the normal trio we had before.
Your nausea never seemed to settle, barely being able to keep down dry toast or sips of water and then there was the immense exhaustion, finding yourself to be lucky if you were awake for an hour before falling asleep again. This, paired with the dizzy spells and dull aches in your temples, it was safe to say that you were done with feeling unwell and you definitely blamed Sam Wilson for this. He’d turned up to work last week feeling unwell, slightly different symptoms to yours as he had a head cold but ill nonetheless and now, here you were, collapsed onto the couch in the living room, under a mount of blankets.
It wasn’t all bad however as Bucky had stayed home to look after you and he was doing a good job of it too, but he and Steve were always extra attentive when you were unwell and had been taking it in turns to stay home, with Steve having stayed with you yesterday.
Bucky today had helped you wash, changed into fresh pyjamas and then carried downstairs, tucking you into your little fort before sitting on the floor and reading the book you were halfway through reading. You were too tired to read and didn’t want to keep your eyes open so Bucky offered, which was hilarious to hear him trying to read along and then asking questions as to the type of books you’ve been reading.
“So who is this Rhysand guy? Just some hotshot king or something?” he asked, lowering the book to look at your resting face. You smiled tiredly at his question, opening one eye to look into his confused expression, he was already invested in your book, even though he had started more than halfway through.
“Something like that”, you replied, voice croaking from needing water which he was quick to notice, lifting the glass with the straw to your mouth and you hummed your thanks, taking a sip and closing your eye once more.
You fell back to sleep again and woke to be carried, noticing that it was dark outside with another day passing as Steve carried you up the stairs, having returned home from work. Your arms were trapped into the blanket cocooned you were being carried in so you nuzzled your face into his neck to let him know you were awake.
Steve tilted his head, kissing the top of yours as he placed you into the centre of your shared bed, “think you’re up for eating some chicken noodle soup?”
“Did you make it?”, your voice was full of hope as you blinked open your eyes to look up at him but made no attempt to move just yet.
“Of course, only the best for you”. Steve left to retrieve your soup, giving you time for another quick snooze, before he was back and shaking your shoulders. With his help, you untangled yourself from the soft blankets and attempted to sit up but were hit with a wave of dizziness, having to stop and close your eyes to get your bearings straight before it subsided and you could sit up properly. Steve was looking at you with a knowing glance as he sat on the edge of the bed, a warm noodle soup bowl in his lap that he began to spoon-feed you - something he insisted on. “You know I’m going to call the doctor, right?”
You release a frustrated huff, you didn’t need the doctor, “It’s fine though, it’ll pass. Sam said it took him 4 days before he started to feel better and I’m only on day 3”.
“Baby, you’re on day 4 and you said this all yesterday and it’s only getting worse”, he stated everything matter-of-factly but you were still shocked that you’d somehow missed an entire day. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to see a doctor and there was no use arguing with Steve when it came to your health.
So after you’d finished half a bowl of the soup before feeling queasy, Steve excused himself to call his doctor who just so happened to be a close family friend. Of course, you had fallen asleep before the Doctor arrived and being rudely awakened made you feel even more groggy and unwell as Steve whispered, “Sorry honey, but Doctor Banner’s here to check you over”.
Steve excused himself so the Doctor could check you over properly without feeling pressured by the mafia boss in the room. Doctor Banner put you at ease though with his warming personality and you’d met him on a few occasions anyway when Steve or Bucky were more injured through an event with work, but you’d never had him look after you before.
The two of you ran through the general list, ‘When did you start feeling like this?’, ‘What are your symptoms?’, before he began doing your vital signs, temperature and blood pressure, all just normal procedures.
“Could you be pregnant?” he casually asked as he velcroed the blood pressure cuff from your arm.
Frowning you answered, “Um no…no, I’m on birth control, so I shouldn’t be”.
“Do you mind if we do a quick test just to tick it off of the list? All you need to do is pee in this cup and I’ll dip a test strip into it”.
You wobbled to the toilet on unsteady feet, realising this is probably the first time you’d properly walked in days because the boys insisted on carrying you everywhere. As you used the toilet, you didn’t think anything of the test, leaving the cup on the side for the doctor and returning back to bed, wondering if he’s going to give you some antibiotics or just see how you get on over the next few days.
After a few minutes, your eyes were closed but you could hear the Doctor returning so you asked, “So, do you think it’s just the flu like I said-”
“It’s not the flu, your test was positive”.
Your eyes snap open to look at him, sitting up and feeling dizzy but ignoring it, “what? What do you mean it’s positive?”
Doctor Bruce held up the little white strip that had two purple lines on it. You looked between the test and his face as he calmly smiled, “You’re pregnant”.
“What if the test is wrong? Can we do it again?” Thankfully he didn’t fight you on this and gave you the packet of tests, you grabbed two and stumbled back to the bathroom. Both strips gave the exact result and now it felt like your heart was coming out of your mouth it was pounding so hard and loudly in your ears.
“Take a deep breath for me”, Doctor Banner calmly instructed as he placed a steady hand on your back in case you needed extra support. You took a few deep breaths, not even realising that you had been holding your breath. Gripping onto the bathroom side, you began to feel dizzy again so he helped you back to bed waiting until you were settled before continuing.
“This explains your symptoms, I’d say you were in your early stages of pregnancy so we’ll book an appointment with the midwife tomorrow and sort out things like a scan. You may feel that your symptoms get worse over the next few weeks and if they do, you can always call me back but otherwise, stay rested and take it easy”.
You were only half listening. Midwife? Scans? Symptoms getting worse? There was so much for your brain to process. There was an actual baby inside of your body right now, a part of you and… who? Your anxiety was increasing with each second as you tried to let the words sink in as the Doctor packed his stuff away. Did you want to have a baby right now? You had always wanted kids but were you even ready at this stage of your life but then again… was anyone ready for a baby when they were accidentally knocked up?
Then the knocked-up by who question echoed through your thoughts. You obviously didn’t know if the baby was Steve's or Bucky’s, so would they be upset about this? If it was planned at least there could be some way you could arrange who to have sex with to know for sure but now… you were all in the dark about the paternity. You didn’t care if it was Steve or Bucky, you were always a trio in every sense of the word but now that this was your reality, would they be pissed off? And were they even ready for kids? The business took so much of their time and was still very dangerous but this was bound to happen eventually as you all wanted children.
Bucky and Steve had always been very open that they wanted kids, especially Bucky with his affection name for you being ‘mama’, he often would talk about his fantasy of seeing you barefoot and pregnant with his kid. So, at least you knew they were on the same page about wanting to have children but now it was the stress of is now the right time and who was the father of the baby?
You were vaguely aware of the Doctor bidding his farewells, “I’ll speak to you tomorrow and I’ll let you tell your partners the good news”. You offered a half-assed wave to him as he left, before staring at your hands in your lap, completely petrified for the next few minutes.
Steve and Bucky wandered in a few beats later, sitting on either side of you on the bed but you couldn’t look them in the eye, trying desperately to hold it together.
“Everything ok, Doll? The Doc didn’t tell us what was wrong, just said you would explain”, Bucky asked, stroking a finger down your arm to try and soothe you but it was enough to make you break.
You burst into tears, hiding your face in your hands.
“Honey? What is it? Talk to us”, Steve encouraged, attempting to pull your hands away from your face but you held them there tightly so instead, he pulled your body into his lap, your legs over his thighs so that you could hide your face into his chest, the sobs building in intensity and everything was just so overwhelming. You were excited, scared, relieved but nervous, it was a lot to handle.
Steve and Bucky encouraged you to talk to them both, becoming more unsettled with your increasing hysterics. It took a few minutes to calm down, and it helped as Bucky held both your hands, rubbing circles into your skin and Steve wrapped his arms around your shoulders, holding you close to his body. You decided it was better to just tell them than keep it to yourself any longer.
With your face still pressed into Steve’s face, you whispered “I’m pregnant”, however, it was so muffled and quiet that neither man heard you.
“What was that sweetheart?”, Steve asked, trying to pull you away enough that both men could see your tear-stained face.
The words sounded strange coming from your mouth as you kept your head hanging lowly, mumbling, “I’m pregnant”.
You knew that they had heard this time by the way both completely froze, not even breathing as they processed the news. Bucky finally whispered, “What?”
You still couldn’t look at him, scared you’d see disappointment or anger in his eyes.
“Are you sure?” Steve asked in such a faint voice you were shocked it was even from him.
Nodding your head at his question you explained, “We checked a couple of times, he thinks I’m still in my early pregnancy but-ah!”
You jumped as Bucky all but tackled you and Steve, his lips kissing every part of your face that he could reach and when he pulled back enough to cup your cheeks, you took in the glowing grin on his face, his eyes twinkling with love as he shouted, “you’re pregnant! We’re having a baby!”
Steve then seemed to snap out of his initial shock and his arms tightened and lifted your body further up so he could kiss your face just as happily as Bucky before nuzzling into your neck, breathing you in, “I love you so much sweetheart, I can’t believe it! Wait, why were you crying, are you not excited?”
He relaxed his hold on you so that they could both see you properly and you had room to look at them both. “I... I am excited! I just wasn’t sure how you would both react as I don’t know which of you is the dad-”
Bucky leans across and kisses your lips quickly cutting off your sentence, the grin still broad across his face, “I don’t fucking care, if the baby has my genes or Steve’s, we’re all in this together, remember? That’s what we’ve agreed on”.
“So you aren’t upset?” you wanted to clarify.
“Fuck no hot mama… and you’re actually going to be a mama! This little bean is ours, all of ours!”
You were crying again with relief, “you really mean that?”
His eyes softened, kissing the corner of your mouth, “Of course I do”.
“We both mean it, I… I can’t believe it, I’ve always wanted to be a Dad”, Steve admitted, kissing your temple and as you looked up, you could see his eyes glistening with unshed tears which only made you smile and cry harder.
Steve made the move first, lowering his hand over your abdomen, resting over your stomach where there was no bump yet but knowing there was something growing inside you, he couldn’t help the relieved gasp. Bucky was quick to cover his hand and yours on the top so the three of you were feeling where the baby would be. “I can’t believe we’re going to be parents!”
The next few days were a whirlwind of excitement and unimaginable joy whilst also still feeling relatively unwell, especially feeling more exhausted as you wanted to buy every pregnancy book and read them all but soon fell asleep with it open in your lap.
Then there was Steve and Bucky who could not contain their excitement, going above and beyond for you, especially with you still feeling ill. They would cook and feed you, if you were too tired, refill your glasses of water, constantly ask if you were comfortable and more than happy to fetch another pillow if needed. Not only this, but their levels of affection had increased massively, whispering their love for you at any opportunity, holding your hands, and lots of kisses, it was so nice to feel this level of love when going through such a life-changing experience.
Both of them had been just as motivated to read about pregnancy, birth, babies, and the whole lot from A to Z, they researched everything that was possible and then gave you the rundown on what your bodily changes would be including what you couldn’t eat, vowing to not eat the same items until you could which you didn’t seem necessary but appreciated the gesture.
Then there was the excitement of going to the Midwife’s appointment and it all became so much more real again, especially being able to book the ultrasound scan. This was where you found out that you were 8 weeks and 3 days and the entire world seemed to pause around the three of you as you watched your baby's tiny heartbeat on the screen.
To say you all cried was an understatement, all of you not taking your eyes off of the scan picture that was provided, the little bean was so tiny, only just being able to tell the outline of its arms and legs. Now it felt official. You, Steve and Bucky were going to have a baby.
Many things changed including protection that increased tenfold. Security around your home doubled and you had not only Sam Wilson as your bodyguard but also Natasha. Not only this but if you attending the business or in public, Steve and Bucky would crowd around you, almost like a human shield, their overprotective instincts on overdrive, even from people who were just at the check-outs in stores. Sam and Natasha were confused by the sudden dynamic intensity and it was hard to keep it all a secret but you had all decided to wait just a little while longer and continue with your unknown illness excuse just until the baby had grown a little bit bigger.
This was something else that you had to get used to with adjusting to the many bodily changes you were going through to adapt to growing this baby. A few days following the scan, you’d come downstairs to Steve cooking you scrambled eggs which were your usual favourite breakfast but as soon as you smelt those cooking eggs, you were gagging and rushing to the toilet, throwing up violently.
Your eyes were watering as you finally stopped emptying your stomach but still gagging as you could smell the lingering eggs in the air. A warm hand rubbed circles over your back, Steve’s apologetic voice came from behind you, “Sorry, baby. No more eggs”.
This was the first instance of vomiting and it wasn’t just eggs, as every single day you would be throwing up and then feeling extremely tired afterwards that you weren’t able to do much throughout the day but be with your head in the toilet or lying in bed. The boys were almost glued to your side during this time, worried that you weren’t keeping enough food or drinks down and even had to call Doctor Banner back just to check you weren’t too dehydrated.
Thankfully you hadn’t needed to go into hospital as your vomiting subsided but the nausea remained for a while.
“You sure she’s ok? She’s looking a little peaky,” Sam commented to Steve one day as he came to help guard the house and was having his lunch with you all but he took one look at you and knew something wasn’t right, even as you forced the sandwich into your mouth, making sure to still eat for you and baby… not that Sam knew about the baby.
“Yeah, she’s fine Sam, thanks for checking though and we appreciate the extra hours you’re doing”, Steve responded with a thankful grip on his friend's shoulder.
“It’s no problem man, just worried for her that’s all, don’t really understand what’s going on with you all, especially with the extra security and whatnot and I feel like I’ve hardly spoken to her for a few weeks now. Just want you to know I’m always here if you ever need anything”.
You felt guilty when Steve later told you what Sam had said, feeling bad that you were keeping it secret but it was only for a few more weeks.
Luckily, you had found the special trick to help your nausea as suggested by a friend: lavender! After sitting with a bag of dried lavender for a couple of hours and not feeling nauseous, Steve and Bucky were quick to fill the entire house with lavender-scented items including candles and sprays, even having some in the car and it helped to settle your nausea massively.
But, as soon as one symptom passed, another would be replacing the uncomfortable feeling. The next was your breasts becoming incredibly painful and sore, even if you accidentally knocked them when putting on a bra or rolling over in your sleep, it was agony. Your boyfriends were even more careful with you during this phase, getting ice to hold against them during particularly painful moments and being careful to give you enough room when asleep.
A couple of weeks later was the first day you noticed the little bean kicking, at first it felt like maybe gas, almost like there were butterflies fluttering in your tummy but then you finally realised what it was. The feeling grew stronger with each day as well as the size of your growing stomach which was something Steve and Bucky were going absolutely feral for. They would take pictures each week to show your progression and would constantly be placing their hands on your stomach, even if the bump wasn’t that noticeable just yet.
The midwife recommended talking to the baby at one point so every night, you would sit with a shirt off and Steve and Bucky would lie on either side of you, taking it in turns to tell stories, sing their favourite songs and lay sweet kisses along the growing bump. One day, Bucky was telling the little bean about the time he and Steve snuck into a movie theatre when the skin under his cheek poked out as the baby kicked him in the face. Bucky sat up with excitement, it being the first time he had properly felt the baby move as he cooed, “there's our strong baby, good job little bean!”
“You hit the right dad as well”, Steve joked causing Bucky to smack him in the shoulder.
“Don’t listen to Dad, listen to Pops, I’m right here to make everything’s ok”, Bucky continued to speak sweetly to your stomach.
Your heart swelled at the difference in names that he had seemed to pick, “is that what you’d like to be called?” you asked them both, stroking a finger across each of their cheeks, feeling the stubble beneath.
“It’s perfect”, Steve beamed, kissing your stomach again.
Now it was your 20-week scan, Baby was so much bigger, you couldn’t believe the difference those weeks had made since the last scan. Now it was really starting to look like a baby with longer limbs and you were even able to find out the gender, however, you had wanted to wait to find out, liking the thought of it being announced at the birth.
With these beautiful new prints of the scans, you finally wanted to tell people, beginning with your closest friends.
It was a casual lunchtime meal at the office. You sat at the large table in between Steve and Bucky, with Sam and Natasha sitting opposite, all idly talking and eating the take-out that Steve had bought. However you had opted for a different meal: 4 packs of salt and vinegar chips and a tub of tomatoes - both were your latest cravings.
Sam eyed your food wearily, “Interesting mix you’ve got there, boss lady?”
Your only response was smiling with your cheeks full of tomatoes as Bucky placed his hand over your thigh. You knew he wanted to put his hand on your stomach but you hadn’t told either of the people across the table just yet and even though your bump was starting to become noticeable now, you were trying to hide it behind baggy shirts but even that was becoming difficult. You were in desperate need of some new trousers as well as the button was digging into your skin as you shifted uncomfortably, looking at each of your boys, feeling antsy with excitement as well.
“Can we tell them? I really need to take off my trousers, I’m feeling really claustrophobic”.
Sam frowned at your random sentence, confused by what you meant however it was Natasha’s reaction that sparked your interest as she smirked, leaning back in her chair with a tilt of the head. You looked at her with a gaped-open mouth, pointing your finger at her, “You already know! Who told her?” you asked, looking between Bucky and Steve.
“Wasn’t me”, they both responded at the same time, holding up their hands as you eyed them both suspiciously.
Natasha leaned forward in her chair, “did you really think that I wouldn’t notice? I’m offended Sugar, it’s in my job description to be observant. In fact, you should be asking if Sam is right to keep this job if he can’t notice something this obvious”, she teased the man sitting next to her who still looked just as confused as before.
You laugh at Sam’s reaction, looking to Steve who handed you the sealed cards. You happily took them, standing from your chair and feeling Bucky’s hand on your lower back to help and then walked around the table, giving them both a card each. It wasn’t anything special or elaborate, but it had a picture of the latest scan with the statement: “Update to your job title; bodyguard & uncle/auntie”.
You’d never heard the high-pitched tone from Sam ever before as he quickly stood, his chair squeaking across the floor as he shouted, “What?!” He turned to you, looking between you, the picture and Steve and Bucky, “Really?!”
You pulled the back of your shirt so the material was tight to your front, showing off your growing bump, grinning as he shouted “Congratulations!”, before pulling you into a huge hug, careful of your belly but rocking the two of you on the spot a few times and kissing your temple, “I can’t believe I’m going to be an uncle again!”
Sam was then pushed aside, giving room for Natasha, “Move it, Wilson, I want to meet my niece or nephew”, Sam didn’t mind being moved as he rushed around to embrace Steve and Bucky.
Natasha hugged you tightly, and you were able to ask, “How long have you known?”
“A couple of weeks, you aren’t as subtle as you think at hiding things. I mean, you’ve hardly been awake enough to have a conversation, this is the most lively I’ve seen you in nearly a month. And that's without the new obsessive protecting from Steve and Bucky, how they’re always touching you and the weird food you’re eating, it’s more noticeable than you think it is”. She pulls back to put her hands on your growing bump, “how many weeks are you?”
“20 weeks and 5 days, I can feel the little bean moving more with each day, I feel so big already and I’m not even showing that much considering I’m only halfway through my pregnancy”. Natasha grinned hearing this, looking at your little bump. “Now you both know, I can take off my pants without being judged”, you groaned as you undid your jeans button, utter relief when they were completely removed from your body and felt free, your shirt was long enough that it stopped mid-thigh so you weren’t too unmodest.
Bucky had snuck behind you, his arms wrapping around to rest on your stomach as he kissed your cheek. Natasha smiled watching the embrace as she remarked, “Guess you got what you wanted all along Barnes, now you can call her mama and she actually is one”.
“Mmm absolutely”, Bucky nuzzled into your neck, the sensation making you laugh as it tickled, turning to shy away from his attack but he only held you tighter until you melted into his arms.
Steve and Sam joined your little gathering and Sam jokingly asked, “So if the baby’s a boy, can we name him Sam?”
You were so thankful for the news being out, especially as this meant that you could go baby clothes shopping with Sam and Natasha, finding little outfits that you could surprise your boyfriends with. It was one of the only things you were able to do for them to show your appreciation as they did so much for you throughout your pregnancy.
Your cravings continued to become stronger with each day and often found yourself waking in the middle of the night to find something to quench the craving for something acidic and sour taste you needed so desperately it felt like your world was going to end if you didn’t eat it right then and there. On multiple occasions, Steve or Bucky would come downstairs in the early hours of the morning to find you sitting on the kitchen floor, your belly round and exposed, hating feeling material against your skin, and a scattering of different foods surrounding you, a happy smile on your face.
“You ok down there beautiful?” they would ask with grins that matched yours and with your heightened emotions you would be crying before long, reaching for them to come and sit with you which they would do eagerly, pulling your body in between there legs and kissing away your tears, “don’t cry pretty girl, I’ve got you”.
If you ever run out of your favourite cravings, they would drive to the store and you were buzzing to go along for the ride in the middle of the night, fully awake and ready for the night time adventure only to fall asleep before getting to the store.
Entering into the third trimester, your belly was round and heavy, things for sure were becoming more difficult for you as the little bean grew. There were small excitements still like attending antenatal classes with your boyfriends who were taking their role as dad and pops very seriously, you’d never seen them concentrate so hard before.
“You’re doing the boss face again”, you whispered to Steve as he correctly wrapped the baby doll in a blanket. Steve's features softened immediately as he sheepishly looked at you from the corner of his eye.
“I’m just trying to concentrate”, he mumbled, eyes returning to looking at the doll, his fingers trembling slightly as he continued wrapping steadily.
Reaching across you grabbed his hands, keeping your voice low to keep the conversation between the two of you, “I’m scared too, but you’re going to be a great dad, Steve, you’ll be ok”.
This was a little pep talk you needed to have with both Bucky and Steve on numerous occasions as they began panicking that this was actually happening and whilst you reminded them there was nothing they could do to take back the growing baby in your belly, it was ok to have nerves, but everything would come to them with time, they needed to stay strong, especially as you were also sort of beginning to lose it.
Your body was really changing to accommodate the growing little bean. Your hands and feet were swollen until your shoes couldn’t fit anymore and god…the heartburn was excruciating, and nearly as painful as the kicks to the ribs. There was never a moment where you weren’t out of breath, even standing to pour cereal into a bowl took all of your energy and you’d be sighing in relief as you sat down. Your hips hurt, your back was in agony, and the pregnancy fun had well and truly finished.
This was where the boys really shined through as they would massage your hands and feet, they would be more then happy to cook or grab anything for you, picking things off of the ground, finding clothes that might fit and then there were their compliments which was one thing keeping you going.
Steve and Bucky could not get enough of seeing you pregnant, “you’re glowing honey, pregnancy suits you so much, my love”. You never felt like you were glowing and would describe yourself instead as a huge, hungry, tired monster but the way the boys looked at you, put those negative thoughts to the back of your mind.
From the moment you woke up to the second sleep would invade your consciousness, they would remind you of their love, needing you to fully comprehend how much they appreciated you growing their baby, you were doing so much for them, putting your body through it, for all of you, for the little bean.
Their words definitely helped when you began to feel needier in more than one way as your hormones caused your arousal to be one-minute non-existence and the next feeling nearly overwhelmed with how badly you needed to touch them and be touched. Thankfully with how obsessed they were with you during your pregnancy, they were more than happy to deliver. Hands would be all over, their lips leaving words of affirmation against your warm skin, being careful not to be to rough and more than happy if you wanted to take control and do whatever you wanted to them.
You had to be honest and say you never felt more loved up before. Even with the gang still in full operation, they were able to look after you as their number one priority, even through your emotional breakdowns, or weird pregnancy habits that had you thinking you were slightly insane but they never judged once.
For example, towards the end of your pregnancy, you had a completely immense craving to chew on your bath sponge every time you sat in the large bathtub. So when one day Steve walked in with a freshly warmed-up towel and caught you mid-chew with staring eyes, you expected his reaction to being anything but a soft smile, “You having fun in there, baby?”
Pulling the sponge out of your mouth slowly you nervously answered, “I uh… I don’t really know how to explain…”
Steve held up a hand, “You don’t have to explain anything, whatever makes you happy and I think I’ve read in a book that sometimes pregnant women can have cravings like this, whatever makes you happy”.
As your due date closened, you sat in the centre of the large bed, watching Bucky shuffle his way through your clothes, trying to find the right things to pack for your hospital bag. “What about this?” he asked, holding up a pair of your normal jeans.
“They haven’t fit me in four months, Bucky”, you laughed, shaking your head. “I need pyjamas or baggy shirts, things that can be easily taken on and off, maybe you should just leave Steve to do it”, you suggested whilst holding out your arms.
Bucky shrugged, dropping the jeans and jumping onto the bed, making you squeal with the bed moving up and down before he had his hands against your bump, kissing the tip of your nose. “Not long until we meet you little bean”, he was rewarded with a kick against his metal palm that had you wincing. “Hello baby, I love feeling you kick so much but be gentle to Mama she’s doing such a good job with keeping you safe”, he leaned down to kiss your belly as your fingers delved into his hair.
“It’s ready!”, Steve shouted from another room, catching both of your attention. Bucky jumped up first and then helped you to stand, keeping his hand on your lower back as you wobbled to the spare room that Steve and Bucky had been decorating as the nursery. It was something you had left them in charge of organising, not having the energy over the last nine months to even think about decorating and Steve and Bucky were more than excited to take on the job and so far had kept it secret from your prying eyes.
As you looked around the room, tears swelled in your eyes instantly, reaching to hold onto Steve and Bucky, praising, “It’s perfect!”. There was a beautiful baby cot, pictures of the three of you surrounding the ultrasound scan photograph on the wall, a painting you knew Steve had done, and a rocking chair in the corner that Bucky had claimed as his for the night feeds he’d volunteered himself for.
Now it was all just a waiting game.
“You’re doing it again”, Bucky commented from where he stood in the entryway to your home having returned from the office a few days later.
“No, I’m not, I’m just cleaning-”.
“Nesting… You’re nesting, Doll”, Bucky reminded you, taking away the cloth from your hands and throwing it to the side so he could hold your shoulders and kiss your temple. “Go and rest, you’ve only got a few days left!”
You roll your eyes as you leaned into his warmth, your bump touching him first as you hugged around his chest, “Bucky most babies aren’t born on their due dates you know, I just want to make sure everything is perfect around the house and ready”.
“Everything IS perfect, please just rest”. You relented to him, feeling tired already from the ten minutes of standing, moving to sit on the couch when a period cramp suddenly began in your lower abdomen, causing you to scrunch your face up in pain, especially as it was followed by a large kick to the ribs.
“Woah, are you ok?” Bucky asked, his hand cupping your cheek.
“Yeah, probably Braxton hicks or something, it’s fine”, you say, finally sitting down and putting your feet on the small table. Bucky didn’t seem convinced and continued to be a mother hen throughout the rest of the night, even though the pains subsided after you had a nice warm bath.
As your due date came and went, you were becoming restless, needing the baby out, feeling overwhelmed with how big you felt, wanting to meet the baby and hating waiting around. It wasn’t like you hadn’t tried everything either. Eating spicy foods, and going for walks, especially up and down the stairs which was incredibly uncomfortable with how low the little bean’s head was sitting in your pelvis. You’d even had sex a few times, Bucky was more than happy to hear that nipple stimulation could induce labour but still, nothing happened.
Those period cramps would come and go throughout these days as well, getting your hopes up before they disappeared and still, no signs that your labour was even happening.
On the fourth day following your due date, you awoke suddenly in the middle of the night to another period cramp that started in your lower back and spread around to your front. Even though this felt different, you didn’t want to wake the boys and get theirs or your hopes up as you tried to slide out of bed without waking them to use the bathroom for what felt like the tenth time that night.
“You ok, baby?” Steve asked, his eyes still closed but his hand reached for you in the darkness.
“Yeah I’m, ok, go back to sleep Steve”, you encouraged, touching the back of his hand before pushing yourself up and waddling to the toilet, using it and then realising just how wide awake you were and the dull ache of the pains still lingered so you decided to run a warm bath. During the time that it was filling up, you had another pain which took longer to subside but this was always how it started with the intensity increasing but after the bath, it usually stopped.
However, even as you let the warm water settle over your body, easing your muscles but the pains continued but at least the little bean was lovely and happy as he or she gave you a powerful kick to your ribs. The next pain had you gritting your teeth, eyes clenching closed as you held onto the side of the tub, waiting for it to pass but this pain lasted for nearly a full minute, and you decided maybe it was time to take some pain relief.
Standing and awkwardly climbing out of the bath, you dried your body and picked up your night dress to pull over your head when another pain came and took your breath away, your stomach hardening and causing you to moan lowly, bending over to blow the pain away.
“Honey?” Steve shouted from the bathroom having heard your moan as he waited for you to come back to bed. You couldn’t answer him as the pain consumed you, and he was rushing to be by your side, Bucky following closely behind him. Steve rubbed your back slowly as your pain finally began to ease so that you could look up at them both.
“Wow, that one was strong”.
“You ok? Can we get you anything?” Bucky asked, stepping forward with worry etched on his face.
“I’m ok.... I think… I don’t want to get my hopes up that this isn’t contractions but fuck, it hurt like hell”, you muttered, bending over to pick up your dress from the floor and then a trickle of clear liquid dripped down the inside of your leg. All three of you noticed as you tentatively looked up, “Is it bad that I can’t tell if I’ve just wet myself or if that’s my waters…”.
Neither of your worried boyfriends had time to answer as another painful wave came and had you doubling over, leaning your head against the sink. Steve was quick to grab you and let you lean against his strong body, remembering what he had learned from the antenatal appointments to help you through the pains, “That’s it baby, breath in and out, nice and slow”. It helped to listen and ground yourself through the pain as Bucky’s cold metal hand rubbed against your lower back, helping to ease the intense pressure from the baby.
The pain lasted for the same amount of time as the previous one and the clear liquid, which was definitely not urine, had gushed out more, forming a small puddle onto the floor. “Ok, I think it’s time we call someone”, you decided.
Bucky kissed the back of your head as he ran to get the phone and Steve helped you to pull your shirt on, his thumb brushing your chin as he sensed your anxieties, “You’re going to do amazing my love, we’ll be with you every step of the way”.
Warnings: really just cockwarming technically, sort of exhibitionism/voyeurism, Bucky has a filthy mouth even in such a casual setting, honestly this isn't much compared to some of my others lol
Genre: fluff and smut
Summary: Steve wants to draw you and Bucky and you plan to let him
***
You stride into your room humming to yourself as you finish a text. When you enter, Steve and Bucky are lounging around, Steve at the desk, and Bucky on the couch watching TV.
"Oh hey guys. I didn't realize you'd be back already." You say.
"We just went on a coffee run." Steve reminds you, tapping your coffee cup with his pencil.
"Well yeah I know but sometimes that shop gets busy." You shrug.
"Where did you get off to princess?" Bucky asks.
"Just had some laundry I thought I'd take care of while you were out. I just sat up there til I could put them into the dryer so I didn't forget." You explain grabbing your coffee from the table and taking a sip.
"Oh okay."
"What ya doin Stevie?" You ask looking over his shoulder where he's hunched over at your desk.
"Just some sketching." He mutters.
"He's been at it most of the morning. Even at the coffee shop, he was doodling away while we were waiting." Bucky tells you.
"Really?" You hum. "Can I see some of them?" You ask.
"They aren't like- great or anything just, trying some things." Steve mutters handing you the sketchbook. You flip through the drawings with wide eyes. Some of them are simple, outlines and such some barely more than shadows, but other pages are much more detailed, vivid depictions of places and things and the occasional person.
"These are impressive Stevie. You shouldn't sell yourself short." You tell him sitting down in Bucky's lap.
"Are these just strangers?" Bucky asks peaking at one of the drawings with an arm wrapped around your waist.
"Yeah- I don't draw people a lot but every once in a while I'll try." Steve shrugs.
"Well you could always draw us if you want the practice." You say with a wink. You're pretty sure he'll never actually take you up on the offer but you're not joking.
"Wanna draw us like one of your French girls Stevie?" Bucky smirks resting his chin on your shoulder.
"Don't tease. I was being serious." You lightly smack Bucky's thigh in reprimand.
"Actually- I did have this one idea." Steve mutters his cheeks tinged pink slightly.
"Really?" Bucky blinks at him.
"You wanna draw us?" Even you're surprised.
"If you guys don't mind."
"Of course we don't. What's the idea?" You ask. Steve doesn't answer immediately, but the tint in his cheeks is spreading in the space left after your question.
"Oh shit he really does want to draw us like Jack's French girls." Bucky laughs.
"Stop it." You roll your eyes. "Is that it Steve?"
"Well kind of. Unfortunately, my recollection isn't great otherwise I would just draw it from memory but- it's just that you always look so beautiful when Buck or I am filling you I thought it'd be a nice moment to immortalize." Steve explains and the revelation sends a shiver down your spine and has your core clenching slightly.
"Oh." You breathe out.
"You- wanna draw us with her sitting on my dick?" Bucky asks and you almost squirm at his words, the imagery now vividly at the forefront of your mind.
"It's a real pretty sight." Steve says.
"I mean I know it is Steve I'm just- surprised. You've never been one for that kind of exhibitionistic interest." Bucky says.
"Whatever man." Steve rolls his eyes. "Y/n? What are you thinking?" He asks you hesitantly.
"I mean I'm not- against it. You just want me like in Bucky's lap?" You ask.
"Yeah pretty much."
"Well if Bucky's fine with it-"
"You'll never have to convince me to do something that involves you on my dick." Bucky shrugs.
"You are so vulgar." You roll your eyes.
"You had no problem with my vulgarity last night princess." Bucky kisses the back of your neck.
"Down boy." You joke. "Stevie you wanna give this idea of yours a try or what?"
"Now?" He blinks.
"Yeah why not? We're all here and you've got your sketchpad." You shrug. "Just tell us what to do and we can make it happen."
"O- okay, well you'll need to strip." Steve says.
"Risque." Bucky jokes as you climb off of his lap to tug off your shorts and t-shirt.
"You too Bucky." Steve says.
"Can do." Bucky winks at Steve shuffling down his jeans and pulling his shirt over his head.
"Actually- y/n put on one of our shirts that you've highjacked." Steve says.
"Hey you guys leave your clothes in here half the time." You protest but you grab one of Steve's shirts from your drawer anyway. You put it on and walk back over to Bucky on the couch.
"And the other half of the time you just go into our rooms and take things." Bucky says tapping your butt lightly. You stick your tongue out at him in response and he chuckles.
"Anyway, do you need a little warm-up y/n?" Steve asks.
"A warm-up?" You ask.
"Well yeah- you'll be sitting for a little bit, you both need to be somewhat comfortable." Steve says as if it's obvious.
"Oh." It's all you can come up with in response.
"Come here doll, let's get you ready hm, although- I'd bet you're already dripping for us like always." Bucky spins you to face him, a hand wrapping around your thigh, fingers settling incredibly close to your center. Close enough that if he stretched the digits he'd be touching, but where they are now it's just enough for you to be hyperaware of the closeness.
"Now's really not the best time for one of your games Bucky." Steve cautions.
"There's never a bad time for those." Bucky winks. Steve rolls his eyes which only makes Bucky's smirk widen as if he has every intention of riling you both up.
"This is supposed to be about me drawing you two babe, can't do that if you're just gonna make a mess of her til she's begging for both of us." Steve says and you almost want to abandon the drawing in favor of that when he says it.
"Alright I'll be nice." Bucky concedes tapping against your thigh lightly. The action instinctually has your legs spreading enough for him to slip two fingers between your slick folds. "Just like I thought, so wet before anyone even had to touch you. Always so ready for us." Bucky hums as he pumps his fingers in and out of you slowly, stretching you. You can't help the small whimpers and moans that fall from your lips at Bucky's ministrations with both men watching intently. A few minutes of playing your body like a custom instrument have you unsteady on your feet and that's when Bucky withdraws. "I'd say you're ready." He says sliding his fingers into his mouth to lick them clean and the action makes your walls clench. You take a deep breath before speaking again.
"Do you want me facing you Stevie? Or should I be facing Bucky for this?" You ask.
"Face me sweetheart." Steve says. You nod and climb onto Bucky's lap straddling him with your back to Bucky. You take Bucky in your hand and he hisses but he can't dwell on the sweet grip of your fingers because in the next moment, you're sinking down onto him, the molten heat of your core envelops him like the sweetest torture. You take your time settling on top of him, 'unintentionally' grinding further against his erection until his hands squeeze warningly against your hip. "Behave you two. I'm serious about drawing you." Steve warns.
"Of course baby." You smile innocently at him.
"Alright- Bucky get comfortable but your legs need to be spread so I can actually see where you're joined oh and slip your hand into her shirt, cup one of her boobs. And you can put your other hand on her thigh." Steve gives you a series of directions which Bucky follows quickly. "Y/n you can lean back against him." Steve adds and you settle against Bucky's chest, and his head rests on your shoulder. "Good girl. Now you guys can just sit there while I draw."
"Do we gotta be quiet and still or-" Bucky trails.
"I mean as long as you don't move too much it's fine, and you can definitely talk, at least until I'm drawing your faces but I'll let you know when I'm at that point." Steve's already started sketching, his eyes darting from you and Bucky to his sketchpad. Bucky swipes his thumb across the nipple of your breast that's in his hand and you gasp at the sudden stimulation.
"Bucky-" You warn.
"Sorry doll, you're just impossible to resist." He hums pressing a kiss to your neck that makes a shiver run down your spine.
"You're insufferable." You scoff at him.
"You say that but I can feel you squeezing me at my teasing." He says.
"Settle down Bucky." Steve warns him although you doubt Bucky will listen. If you're lucky he'll save the teasing for after the drawing is finished but chances are you'll end up doing way more than sitting on his dick within the hour. Bucky can be quite patient but when it comes to you neither of them is particularly good at managing their insatiability. You'll be seriously surprised if Steve manages to finish his drawing before one or both of them decides this time is better spent forcing orgasms from you.
