A secret admirer? Oh wait, is it that cursed day? His birthday, the first of May, something he forgot about. He never asked for gifts nor went around screaming that he has aged another year. Any kind of actions towards him only amused him and no matter how much he loved the color of red and the smell of roses, he didn’t see the gift as anything special.

Such a surprise though, that a greedy thief had left his possessions for him of all people. The Hound could smell the thief on the items with ease, that was how he knew. “Knowing him, he will just steal it back later...” He thought out loud as a hand reached over to pick up the small ruby to place it inside his pocket. The rose lifted off the table after as the Hound carried it on his hand. A free rose for his next victim, how nice of Zion to think about that.

There wouldn’t be any thanks said even if the Captain would see the thief, perhaps only a stare might be made towards him to show him that he found his gift.

Relationship Headcanon

Zaos

Zaos is a deepsea merman and an occasional crewmate of the Hound. Occasional as in, Zaos doesn’t always hang around as he prefers the sea and Michi has given him a job of investigating other nearby ships and warning him sometimes of in coming marine ships. Michi doesn’t rely on Zaos, because he knows the merman isn’t always obedient and getting him out of the sea to make him listen to him isn’t easy.

Like with anyone else, Michi wouldn’t care if the merman ended up dead one day or if he didn’t return. For Zaos to work for him in the first place Michi gives him knowledge about humans and when they met, he was the one to save him. He didn’t do it out of the goodness of his heart, he had been curious of the pretty merman and had wanted to put him into his collection of pets and possibly get a taste out of him. Unfortunately he has yet to get that out of Zaos, but Michi is patient and when the merman turns unuseful for him, he will turn him into his very own pet fish.

Extra; After Zaos met one of his other crewmates, Zion, his urge to strangle both of the pretty boys has raised.

Second Extra; Michi secretly likes to listen to Zaos sing.
