Hello! Being sick is expensive! I have one confirmed autoimmune disease and two suspected ones amongst a variety of other chronic conditions & I've recently started infusion immunosuppressants. The infusions give me a shot at participating in life in the ways that matter to me but also make me sick as a dog for about 5 days, I mainly need money to afford easy-to-prepare & nausea-friendly foods for a few days!

Very curious to hear more about that period of 'inprisonment' if you have more to add to it... idk I like seeing Kael a little miserable and in situations and Jude 'taking care' of him at the same time... lovely

It was a dark time for Kael. At first he was defiant, of course, he refused to be captive in his own home, he tried to find his tools, he tried to escape, he fought until he hurt himself. This only made Jude more protective, which made him more defiant, and they were trapped in this loop until Kael relented.

He wasn't allowed to do anything, his vices, even his hobbies were off limits. Jude tried to entertain him with soft videos based on his interests such as "Mechanics for beginners" which would cause no strain on his body, but was also not challenging enough for his mind. In his effort to make him feel no pain, Jude was making him numb to everything.

Kael tried to ignore him and just talk to AMP. Then Jude got jealous of AMP and took Kael's tablet away, so he was stuck talking to himself.

After a while, Kael gave up entirely, slipping into depressive catatonia. Jude had to feed him, washi him, dress him, etc. It was dehumanizing. In his efforts to heal his user, Jude almost killed him. This is the worst thing he has done. His heart was in the right place, but the implementation was inevitably cold and robotic.
