On an ordinary day, just trying to survive, everything changed in an instant. I was at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, seeking safety and treatment, but instead of safety, we were met with fire and destruction. The explosion was too powerful to forget. The screams, the smell of smoke, the bodies all around me—a single moment was enough to change my life forever. I woke up to a painful reality: I had lost my left leg. Yes, a part of me was gone, and with it, a large part of my life and dreams. Today, I am trying to start over. I am trying to learn how to live with a missing body but with a heart that still fights. Every step is a challenge, every day is difficult, but I refuse to give up. I want to live with dignity, to get treatment, and to be able to provide for my basic needs. I am not asking for much—just humanitarian aid to help with the costs of treatment, a prosthetic limb, and securing my future after this tragedy. Any amount—even a small one—could make a huge difference in my life. If you can support me or even just share my story, you are giving me a light in this darkness.
