It’s been 12 days and I still am in shock I can’t believe my own ring was in our home for weeks and it traveled with us and he had an entire perfect plan and the most perfect ring without any direct input from myself. My best friend forever and the love of my life. So special to get engaged with his twin & their partner present- in 80 degrees 80% humidity all 4 of ur were crying and I’ll never ever get over it. We have entered a new era and I cannot wait to get married and have babies and more kitties❤️❤️❤️I never made the connection that I had an internal butterfly obsession, but the butterfly conservatory was the perfect spot - and then I realized all my jewelry are butterflies, my plant gnat strips & deco are butterflies, I chose a butterfly necklace a year ago for my grandpas ashes, and multiple other things. Not to mention my parents knew for over a year & in laws knew the whole time, too. A family vacation of 10 people is a lot but they coordinated to make our day perfect. Everything just feels so perfect & in harmony. I am in such bliss 🥹🥰

Bf got the HP internship for summer, done with school in a year and will hopefully continue to work with them, I’m working on a hospital position, and just looking at the calculations of monthly income between the both of us has me so excited, elated, relieved. This July is our 7th anniversary and we’ve saved all the big moves for post - school, so lucky for him and how we’ve stayed by each others side through a pandemic and the school and job problems we’ve experienced. I can finally see a bit of light at the end up the tunnel of an engagement in the next year, careers, a house, another cat, starting to have kids, and marriage. Life finally feels like something real. His successes are motivating me in ways that I’ve never been motivated before & I just want a meaningful life of my own family we created. God I cannot wait😭😭😭😭

I think I’m about to go through round 3 of re realizing my grandpa is gone and I’ll never get a message from him again. Grieving is awful.

what they dont tell you about adulthood is that it’s startlingly easy to go long periods of time without having any fun at all not even a little bit. btw this makes ur brain try to kill you with knives and hammers.
