So I want to talk about bakugo and deku, why? just because
TW SPOILERS AND LOTS OF RAMBLING
I'm sure lots of people talked about this already but I'm in the middle of a rewatch and as I'm halfay through s5 and have seen the first 2 movies and I'm lonely as hell and can't talk about this with people I will bother you lovely people.
So first of all I think both Izuku and Bakugo are very complex characters with awesome development and even though they are very different they also have lots in common.Let me explain myself Izuku is so kind-hearted and selfless, he wants to save people to win and he's so set on his goal he's going to help anyone no matter what,even if it means injuring himself,like he has NO regard for his well being,he's reckless and will throw himself head first without thinking most of the times,but he's also incredibly smart,perceptive and observant mostly because he grew up always watching from the sidelines (ff reference intended).
Now Bakugo has quite the opposite personality per say,he's hot-headed,rude and wants to win most of all, he wants to win to save people, he was always gifted and praised and grew up as a raging assh*le with a superiority complex,he's smart and very skilled in combat, both physically and mentally, BUT he lacks Izuku's innate compassion and heroism. I'm not saying he's not heroic in his own way but I would say that where Izuku resembles All Might in some ways Bakugo is more like Endeavour,controversial to say I know,and he's also scared of this side of Izuku because I think he feels lacking in that department and this awareness, plus the knowledge that he is in fact not the best out there, made him crumble under his inferiority complex like we saw after All Might's fall during the Ground Beta fight.
These two are also very similar,they both want to be the number one and top each other in avery way,are very strong willed and hard workers and will stop at nothing to achieve their goal. Sometimes they rush into decisions without thinking and are also very volatile,like one wrong word and you find yourself thrown across the room,they're both a little insane like that,but they push each other to be better and they look up to one another, Izuku's admiration always outspoken and out in the open whilst Bakugo's is not that evident.
Now I just want to clarify that I am an anime watcher and a victim of the new chapter spoiler so my knowledge is limited,this said I think they have such an interesting dinamic: they compliment each other's personalities very well and can be seen as two sides of the same coin.Being childhood friends there's obviously a lot of affection and care on both sides,I will fight you on this,they have that kind of connection and bond that it's rare to find and so special,Izuku was ready to give up One For All and his dream to Bakugo because he trusts him so much and knowd his potential and it's okay if it's him,like I'm sorry that just made me cry so hard.
Let's talk about the new chapter leaks.
I am trying to accept the fact that Bakugo may be dead and on one hand I kiiinda want to see Izuku going berserk and kick some ass,like the kind of pain he would feel I can't even imagine, he just loves and admires him so much it would break him but it would be very interesting to see,on the other killing one of the most beloved and important characters is a pretty risky move,people would be f*cking pissed but I'm curious to see what's next.
Anyway so sorry for this long ass paragraph :)
