just realized i’ve had this simblr for 10+ years now and i guess i never found much excitement in the community other than when i used to play sims 2 and interact with people/share sims.

i barely have gameplay pictures in my screenshots folder. i mostly take pictures when i’m playing around with cas/making characters/making stuff specifically to look good enough to be posted online without me cringing about it years later.

still, the gameplay part is something i tend to keep to myself. i might share my stories or a legacy file in this blog one day, but if i haven’t done that in 10 years... haha

recent discourse’s got me thinking about why i haven’t really “connected” with the community these past years. i come from a time when pm*d wasn’t a forbidden word, and in my country there’s simply no way you can dish out a dollar or more every month for virtual content for a game you - usually - already had to pay a lot for. i won’t condemn anyone who works with early access but i also don’t... condone pulling that stuff, especially with all that’s been going on with certain creators.
