opened up my relationship a few months ago and made the mistake of rehashing a dynamic with someone i’ve known for about a decade and who has historically orbited in and out of my life and who i hooked up with once a couple of years ago and it was a great time they have allegedly told me they think about often and want to take further (we never had sex) and yet won’t make concrete plans to see me despite me saying hey if you can’t or don’t want to do this and offer some clarity and consistency here that’s totally fine but im gonna need to take a step back and they double downed on wanting to see me and asked if i wanted to speak more in my feelings and i did and now they haven’t replied to that text for two weeks but continue to watch and like and even REPLIED to an ig story today….i’m just

Sorry to break it to you but you literally have to face your fears and slaughter them. Otherwise you will live a small life that you do not want. You literally have to view your biggest fears and attack them head on. You have to fall into the abyss to find your way out. The easy path does not exist. There is no get out of jail free card. You have to allow yourself to die a spiritual death over and over again in order to reinvent yourself into the person you are actually supposed to be. And you have to be painfully honest with yourself and the people around you. It’s horrible but it’s truly the only way.
