Sutton and Richard got to spend most of the episode getting this blissful reunion and Kat and Adena get scraps at the last minute. But I’m not bitter tho. It’s probably a coincidence. A show prioritizing the straight white couple instead of the queer woc. That’s never been done before.

Such wasted potential

This finale was very mediocre. Yeah they ended up together in the end but they barely had any screen time together. Just think about how amazing they could have been. Kat a black bisexual woman here at this corporate even wearing a dress with African print and her natural hair. Adena a self proclaimed Muslim lesbian photographer here in a red hijab and red dress bold and proud. And they could have been together ages ago. I have never seen characters like them on tv let alone them being in a relationship together! When I first started the show I thought this was such a win for QWOC only to be disappointed. Especially with how they presented Kat in season 4. I still love their relationship and I’m happy they ended up together but it could’ve been so much better.
