So this happened

I was aware of the existence of Masters of Sex since having a look at Michael Sheen's filmography (strangely enough, never heard of it before). I kept hearing high praises about it but... as an Asexual, I really didn't think the show was the type I could enjoy. Not from disgust but likely boredom through incomplete understanding of what seemed to be the main theme.

I finally decided to give it a try after another (old) positive review.

I'm at half of the first season and DEAR GOD I WASN'T READY TO BE SUCKED INTO ANOTHER FANDOM.

Michael Sheen is absolutely amazing in this. It seems like TV shows are really where he can show his true potential.

And the show is delicately crafted, which is surprising given its main subject. Seeing good writing on TV shouldn't be surprising yet here we are. I feel blessed to have given Masters of Sex a try after Good Omens and Prodigal Son. Watching those shows nearly back to back gives a really fascinating glimpse into Michael's talent.
