🪐✨On plarn rollin'...
I've rolled over forty rolls, and the colors keep amazing me. They are pretty much on a limited, basic range, but there are so few in the exact same tone. I have like five different tones of light green, and several reds-oranges-pinks.
The plan is to make some pieces with crochet, cross-stitch, knitting...granny squares, whatever I can get my hands on, hopefully something small and cute, and hopefully something that will get (that I will get) finished! So I have something to show if I ever get to do the workshop thingy.

I actually almost breathe in+swallow a bit of cut up plastic, it felt surreal. Like if I saw a tardigrade just... crossing the street. You know, the thing that you always knew it was real, but suddenly in plain sight.
The environment crisis has worried me relentlessly since I was a tween, and it's a heavy anxiety that never hopped off me. Kinda like veganism but with one-use plastics, the horror regarding the meat industry, felt about the plastic pollution, the straws up turtles' noses, yadda yadda. Eventually the plastics became microplastics and now are an unshakable part of our systems. But to Breathe In a tiny piece of plastic and having to claw it out of my throat lmao it was a different layer of panic. Closer.
There's a transition between that environment anxiety and the enthusiasm of finally using plastic as the piling, abandoned resource it is. I'd like to elaborate on that, yet I'll put a pin on it 📌. But it's about plastic, and money, and time. Big stuff, all rolled up a little carton roll.
