Gosh, it's been over half a year since I last drew!! Steadily getting back to it~

I had a baby!

Can’t believe it’s been almost a year since my last upload! The reason for my absence is because I’ve become a mom! Pregnancy was not a fun time. Lots of little complications that forced me on bed rest. Little nugget was struggling so pregnancy ended with an early induction. Now here we are, 8 months later, thriving!!

Parenthood is by far one of the most challenging things I’ve jumped into but everything they say is true. I’m so in love, content, fulfilled, motivated, exhausted. Everything in daily life has changed. Some days are super hard and isolating while others are filled with the most magical moments. I’m finding this more fulfilling than any other path I’ve gone down. We’ve wanted this child for so long and now he’s here. I still can’t believe he’s here!! I have the privilege to be this little guys mom?? Oh my gosh~~ He’s our whole world, all my time and energy is dedicated to him.

With than I occasionally find space for myself and drawing. Definitely a bit of a challenge though. Neither side of the family are physically close enough to help. My partner’s work schedule is also extremely demanding. Most days the nugget and I are on our own. But steadily working on some drawings. Might even finish something before the year is over (hah! optimistic much?).

Still alive! Doing well! Look forward to having more drawing time but not in a rush. I know personal time will come again. For now the focus is on loving and nurturing this cute little potato ᰔᩚ

Final attack for Art Fight 2024! While the event is done I still plan to draw art for peeps! Have a mini collection of wips I didn't manage to finish. Taking a pause from drawing for a moment, to focus on other goals. Once I get back to it I'll be sure to share ^^
