reblogging again with a lil commentary this time because is this not a classic three-card reading he’s accidentally doing here? that they’re kinda doing together? and not to get too deep but Michael draws a jack of spades for himself, the nine of diamonds for Maria, and the two of hearts for the two of them neatly sat in the middle.

and to make it tarot (something I absolutely believe Maria does or has done) the jack of spades is the page or knight of swords, and both of those represent Michael very well as characters who are full of ideas and curiosity with lots of passion for discovery and knowledge, both engaging with the world around them on an intellectual level. swords is the suit of air and intellect and ideas and clarity, which fits Michael. the page is the earlier stage, a new project or relationship, and the knight is when that project’s been found and the attitude is very full-steam-ahead.

the nine of diamonds is the nine of pentacles, the money and earth suit, which also fits Maria perfectly. the nine is all about financial independence, security, and self-sufficiency, and making the most of what your hard work has brought you. it’s about being in a comfortable place and being able to sit back and enjoy the rewards for a bit. Maria’s hustled for years to get to a place where she feels like she can relax and enjoy a new relationship, maybe also explore these new abilities she’s discovered. at this point, it doesn’t feel like so much of a risk, or at least not a risk she can’t afford to take.

and then neatly between them is the two of hearts! the two of hearts is the two of cups, the water and emotions suit, and it’s a card that’s about a new, deep connection, usually romantic. it’s a new relationship where you’re both all in, it’s already soulmate-level or has the potential to be, everyone’s on the same page, and the feelings of devotion and love are already real and intense. very unconditional love kinda thing, and very romantic. a very good card to pull if you’re in a relationship, especially a new one. and I knowwwww it doesn’t end up being a lasting relationship for miluca but that spark is still so strong and their feelings for each other run so deep already. 🥺

Some Malexa cuddles today! For @maeglinthebold (and especially in honor of that one fic where they're all trying to fit onto Michael's tiny Airstream bed 😆). If you can't tell, that's Alex's left arm on top of Michael's head. Poor Alex has his shoulder curved way under to be in that position.

Crash landings, cosmic horrors, when worlds collide, forbidden planets, time warps and paradoxes November 3: The stinger Did you miss the afterlife express? Was a prompt missing in action? Just want to make sure you're the final survivor? We'll keep the candles lit for one last night.

Roswell, New Mexico Femslash Exchange 2024

Save a horse, ride a cowgirl!

Join us as the weather heats up to celebrate pride with the women of Roswell, New Mexico. Get yourself a glass of lemonade and settle in as you sign up for the exchange and get ready to have a good time as we celebrate this show's unabashed queerness.

Details:

Each participant will be assigned to create a gift for someone, and will receive a gift in turn. Gifts may be fic (at least 2000 words), art (at least 1 drawing/edit), gifset (at least 3 gifs), fanmix (at least 8 songs), or fanvid (at least 2 minutes or a full length song).

Assignments will be anonymous - please have your ask box set to receive anonymous asks in case your gift creator has any questions for you!

Gifts may not be created using generative AI.

As this is a femslash exchange, all works must have as their main focus a romantic and/or sexual relationship between two or more of the women of Roswell, New Mexico.

Dates:
