8 years ago today, I had to say goodbye to my favourite person in the whole wide world. Most days are fine and I accept the fact but some days it's hard to fathom the reality that you're not here. The only role model in my life who never got mad at me when I did something wrong and who always played with me until he was fully exhausted. The first person to marry and divorce me (inside joke) and the only one to speak English w me the first time I went to Sudan. I was so proud to call you my grandpa, the person everyone loved and respected as the great lawyer you were. I was so happy I got to visit you this summer, it was a trip that had been long overdue.
