Chronic workaholic. I've been living the struggling artist life for over 25 years now... I've had some minor successes, including exhibiting in New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington, DC, Albuquerque, Los Angeles, San Diego and Tampa. Was in my first "International" show, just outside Mexico City in early 2007. Since then, my work has also been shown in Chaing Mai, Thailand in Nov-Dec 2009. Nationally, my work has been reviewed in the New York Times (August 2007), In These Times Magazine (July 2006), and in Boston's artsMEDIA Magazine (May/June 2005), as well as within various local media outlets.                                                                     From 2010 to 2017 I was an official photographer for the Tampa Bay Derby Darlins/Tampa Roller Derby, a WFTDA sanctioned roller derby league.                                                                                     In 2013 I began photographing for the Femmes & Follies burlesque troupe, based out of Tampa, FL.                                                                                                                                                                                          I can also be found on Instagram (black_cat_studios) and Twitter (ChrisWeeks_BCS)                                                                                               In the meantime, I try to pay the bills by teaching various art and art history classes ...
