(Un)Frequently Asked Questions:

Is jilling ok? Yes. Adding jilling to the name and tag made it too long, so I just stuck with jacking.

Can I pick multiple prompts? Yes.

Can I use multiple prompts from multiple days in the same work? Also yes.

Do I have to use all the prompts for each day? Only if you want to.

Do I have to post my work on the specific day of the prompt? *Withers’ Voice* No.

I want to use a prompt/multiple prompts for a non BW work. Is that ok? Yes. Just don’t use the tag or post to the collection.

Why have both a tag and a collection? Collections are easier to share than a tag, and easier to see new entries in. The tag also allows for easier filtering for people who may not be interested in seeing the event.

Are threesomes/orgies alright? Yes, as long as two of the people are BW, and they do the dirty. (If the orgy has everyone sitting in a circle while jacking/jilling it, is that a circle jerk?)

Lue's Tagging Tips

For anyone who gets a bit stuck with tagging (and I know there's a few of you!), here's some handy tips I use.

I use google docs because of the autosaving of any edits across devices, but also because you can create tabs in your documents. I make a tab for my notes, and for each chapter.

In my notes tab, I'll put the tags in, structured like this:

(These are the tags for my fic 'Plundering Booty'.) As I go, whenever I write something, like the Cum Necklace, I tab over to the notes tab and add it in as a tag. If it's a chapter fic, I put the new tags underneath as a separate paragraph, to add on later. If I know I'm going to use it, I pop it in at the start.

The reason I do it like this, is so I can make sure I don't forget a tag. There's nothing worse than writing a fic, getting ready to post it, and having to remember all the relevant tags.

This is from my Earth Tav fic, showing what I do when I want to add more tags on.

Now, you don't have to use a new tab for this. Or google docs. You can pop your tags in a separate document if you really want to. I used to pop them at the bottom of my work, with a chunk of enters beforehand.

I used to copy/paste them over one at a time. Which still took time, but at least I could be sure I got them in.

This probably also leads to me overtagging at times. But I'd rather overtag than undertag.

Now, for the second tip I have with tagging: you'll notice all of the paragraphed/non list tags have a comma after them, but not the last one. That's on purpose, because I bulk tag, using the following steps.

You'll want to select the tags like this:

Make sure there's no space on the end. Hit copy/ctrl+c

Paste them into the tags field like this

Then hit the comma, and they should end up looking like this.

And when you update, the tags are all there. I do this with every fic I upload now, and it saves me so much time, effort, and I'm pretty sure it's tagged as I want it. Even though I just noticed I have a spelling mistake that my beta and I both missed, so I'll go in and fix that.

I have updated the rules a little for clarity, and added a question, in case anyone has a similar one.
