Growing up in the world Pt. 2 (Commission)

2nd and final part of FancyJaguar's commission. After such an explosive entrance, this little dood gets a moment to take in his new status. It only takes seconds for him to positively embrace and revel in his new body, which doesn't show any signs of stopping soon Super fun to work on this! Very overdue since the Commission process started in September, but due to art block and college classes I couldn't push myself to get to it. Now that I got a set drawing schedule for myself though I'm staying on top of things! Hope you all enjoy it!

My new bull fursona!

I'll get around to adding a more in depth description eventually but tl;dr: I got a new fursona thats a bull. Unlike Blue-Blazer the 1st who at first represented me but became his own character with bits of me in him, this is the actual me, or at least fully represents me. I picked bull because I like bulls and they're tied to Latino culture, and its different from making another canine fursona. I love how he, er, I turned out!

...I completely lost track of how long it took for me to complete this piece. Probably around 7-10 hours. It was my first proper time working with alcohol markers, and I also wanted to do a comic book hybrid layout with this pic. I thought it would look cool (and I think it does), but I don't think I'm doing a big drawing like this again. I mean, I will do big drawings, but not with comic panels because they're actually pretty time consuming. Still super proud of this though. Most of it is with alcohol markers (mostly Blick, some of it Copic), but the background on the right side is black colored pencils, so I could make the fade out look more convincing.

'cept unlike him I ain't afraid to be seen! In fact, I'd love to see my baby even try to even massage my paws, you know what I mean? That'd be something a superhero could do!" Happy Macro March! I didn't think I would be doing anything for the occasion this year, but thankfully I did! And its because of some new methods I did that got me back in the groove. In fact, because of these methods, if I keep doing them consistently enough (and as long as college doesn't take up too much of my time like it did the last few months), I feel like I'll be a more active artist than before!

New pic done of Olivia for 2023! I wanted to do something slightly different with her costume (the light blue on her arm and leg parts of the costume). I got the idea from looking at a blue flame and saw how the outer part of it looked brighter. I did that with her costume and I think I like it! Kinda gives an interesting color balance to her body!

Be worthy of your power!

While I love engaging in fantasies with my fursona, I still made him a superhero for a reason, and with the tools I have as an artist I'm glad to now properly show that. I almost considered scrapping this piece all together because I had such a hard time with the coloring. But luckily I didn't, and now I'm over the moon happy with how this looks! A broken building with a trapped kid inside, and only Blue-Blazer has the possibility of saving him. A battle not with a villain or criminals, but of the hero's own will. A test of his conviction that will prove whether he truly deserves his extraordinary powers.
