Boll Team (Boll Deluxe & Boll Tower)

This is a blog for the development of the Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog fan game "Boll Deluxe". We also post progress on our other game "Boll Tower", a parody of Pizza Tower using elements from Boll Deluxe.

Boll Deluxe is a Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog fangame where the Sonic characters (and a couple other guests) help Mario & Co. save Princess Peach once again. Featuring brand new movesets; levels and artwork, as well as a lot of customization due to its open source nature. You can download its current version and more down bellow.

Merry Bolloween Eve's Eve everyone! Here is your (slightly) updated present! this is all art related (can you spot them all?), and this is all old engine footage too i should warn you BUT for a bit more progress than a simple video, heres how the resprites are going:

Mario is 99% Complete! (he has 2 small animations left)

Sonic is 80(?)% Complete! (he has around 4 animations left, 1 for big, 1 for fire, and 2 for small, and is missing feather shoes in alot of animations for feather form)

The Kid is 100% Complete!

this is for old engine stuff though, this will quickly become outdated as we add more mechanics, gimmicks, and animations in general during the recode.

some updates on the game cuz i forgot

Hey! Did you know this blog existed? Pretty cool right? Well, for those 2 people who only follow progress on this game from here, there has been a Ton of new things that have happened to the game since last update (You can keep up with more progress through our Discord server).

We're pretty much redoing the whole game, mainly in terms of coding but a lot of design aspects are changing as well. We also released a build (The "Unfinished" Build) that contains a bunch of the progress done for the next major update before we decided to redo the whole codebase. It has already been released on the Discord server and an update to it will be releasing sometime soon.

Also, Boll Tower exists. It's a side game we began developing this April and it's a parody of Pizza Tower using elements from Boll Deluxe.

Anyways, expect a little more updates on here, but if you truly wanna keep track of everything we do, it's best to join our Discord where we're a lot more consistent posting updates there, lmao
