i need everyone to take a moment to think about the sheer amount of textures on papyrus's skull. do you know how many fucking products he puts on that thing
FINALLY got around to redoing my old underswap napstablook / napstabot / dapperbot design :> i like them a whole lot. napstablook has never seemed very interested in being corporeal so i wanted to push the ghost element really hard, which was a lot of fun actually !
i think their arc would probably center around not trying to be someone they aren't, or maybe learning to make music just for their own enjoyment instead of for an audience and stepping down from the spotlight. they'd probably go back to being a ghost eventually, but they'd shift to using their remaining platform to help boost mettaton up instead!
so i watch a slightly mentally ill amount of youtube video essays every day and lately i'm noticing that it seems to be getting like. weirdly more common for them to use undertale sound effects. like i'm already plenty used to the occasional OST jumpscare but why did i just hear the hotland elevator opening noise in a video about banned wikipedia editors
i have a friend whose special interest is vocaloid and talking to her about it really puts into perspective just how many vocaloid songs i've learned from the undertale fandom for some reason. we tried to show another friend Drop Pop Candy and had to pass like 4 different sans & papyrus versions before we got to the actual original song
