that would make sense if overwatch used smearing literally anywhere else, but it doesn’t (i mean, it’s uncommon in 3D video games in general, but i digress)

even if this was intentional, it sticks out like a sore thumb because there are no other animations in the game that make use of the technique (if d. va’s whole gimmick was cartoon physics or something, it’d make sense for her to be the only character animated this way, but it isn’t)

you prob don’t notice because it’s going too fast like it’s suppose to be ingame and not in a extremely slow gif probably slowed down to fit tumblr’s very small 2mb limit but Smear Techniques are actually used a lot in this game
