Birthday card!

Friends of my dad got a little girl! ^0^ I drew a little card for them. Those are amongst my favourite subjects: Only happy people!

Puk

This is Puk, a little fluffy dog! I'm trying to get a little bit faster and add more texture without overdoing the drawing. I made it for a couple who both got ill because of covid. This is their dog named Puk, a little happy ball of floof :)

Figure Drawing

Studies! Finding that line of action has been a big issue when it comes to my figure drawing. I tend to focus on details rather than shape, causing them to look stiff (but hey, at least they have a pretty face, right?). For those unfimiliar with the concept: the line of action is basically the line of movement / the flow you base your drawing on.

Nowadays I am trying to loosing up a little. Very happy with the outcome of these: Quick sketches that actually show movement! Besides all that, dancers keep being my number one favourite to draw: absolutely love how graciously they seemingly effortless move ♡♡♡

Brain Disorder Awereness Contest

Had the honor of designing for the @humanitarianneuropsychproject . This is a Foundation created by friends who want to raise attention for Neurological problems and brain damage. They only just started, but their plans and ideas are amazing! "The results are in! In 2020, we celebrate the premiere of the brain disorder awareness contest. Excellent fact sheets and video contribution of 58 psychology students of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands entered the contest. Did you know about Achromatopsia, Herpes Simplex Encephalitis, Alice in Wonderland Syndrome? The submissions cover these and further topics from the domain of clinical neuropsychology, neuroscience and neurology. For the HNP contest committee this means now: Watch and Vote for the 2020 winner. The winners are announced soon, and you can shortly check out our top fact sheets and videos on our social media channels and our website."

The last Remy!

I used to draw this character for my student-association, but since I am not a student anymore, I assume this will be the last Remy I draw. The dinosaur started as a way to spice up the image of the association, but became the mascot of Flanor in the end.  Happy to say that Remy will continue to exist within the association ♡
