tw: suicide
logan paul didn’t make a “mistake”
• he went to a place called “Suicide Forest”, probably knowing there were many suicides there (as it is in the title and name of the forest)
• he made the decision to film in this forest
• he made the decision to film the body he found (when he could have just not included it)
• he made the decision to crack jokes and make fun of the suicide victim, and feature footage of him laughing in it
• he edited the video
• he titled it dramatically for views
• he made the thumbnail
• and he posted it
PLEASE explain to me how it makes any sense to call this grown ass dude’s insensitive decision a mistake when there were plenty of opportunities to see where it could be bad? and, if he didn’t see how it could be bad, what does that say about him as a human being?
it’s sick. it’s demented. all for views.
now we have children going around justifying Logan’s action as “everyone makes mistakes.” do you know what this means? these children defending him think that what he did is perfectly okay. that posting a video of a corpse—even further, a suicide victim—is fine. that making fun of mental illness is fine. and he’s influential to them, a “role model”, so who knows how this could impact them and their choices later.
imagine if that were your own mother, or father, or sister, or brother, or even you. would you can some blonde haired dickhead making fun of your/your moms/your dads/whoever’s dead body and getting a ton of money from it? honestly.
STOP MOCKING PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESSES. It’s not a joke—it’s a serious thing that tons of people are affected by every single day. videos like this don’t do anything to emphasize the importance of mental health, and might even make people struggling feel worse and invalidated. so for crying out loud, just stop.
think about what you do and say before you do and say it. please.
(and did you know he monetized his apology video? how ingenuine is that?)
A study on why teenage heterosexual couples may engage in anal sex has revealed a climate of coercion, with consent and mutuality not always a priority for the boys who are trying to persuade girls into having it. Researchers at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine interviewed 130 teenagers aged 16-18 in three sites across the country to “explore expectations, experiences and circumstances of anal sex among young people”.

Researchers at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine interviewed 130 teenagers aged 16-18 in three sites across the country to “explore expectations, experiences and circumstances of anal sex among young people”.
The qualitative study found that anal heterosex appeared to be “painful, risky and coercive, particularly for women”, while males spoke of being expected to persuade or coerce reluctant partners.
This shit is so important. While I do know some rare women who fully and enthusiastically enjoy anal sex and don’t find it to be unpleasant (and I’m here for these women and support their right and decision to fully enjoy the sex that they like) but unfortunately in my experience these women are the minority. All throughout high school and university most of the women I knew who did anal said it hurt and at the very least was an unpleasant experience, but their boyfriend / partners / hook-ups made them feel obligated or felt like they needed to perform this painful and unpleasant sex act to get guys to like them and earn male approval. I can’t even name how many women I know who only agreed to anal because their boyfriend/partner/friend with benefits/husband wouldn’t shut up about it or lay off the pressure, and the result sex act was painful and unpleasant for her.
totally 👏🏾 here 👏🏾 for 👏🏾 this
