I was honored to be a part of two of my best friends’ wedding recently. Seeing their love for each other is honestly just so heartwarming. To see how far they’ve come, all of the ups and downs. But in the end, knowing that they found their person and can be who they are 100%, that’s love. We all strive to find love, but even a love like theirs, it still takes work. I can’t express how happy I am for them. For those of you still waiting for love, don’t. It’ll happen when it’s supposed to. I need to remind myself of that too. It may sound harsh, but I believe everything happens for a reason, and it may not be evident at the time, but it all makes sense later. Focus on you, and your happiness. The many stages of my quarantine hair. As disappointed as I was when this whole quarantine began, I decided to take this opportunity to try out a couple new hairstyles. It took some time to gain confidence enough to actually go through with them, but I can say that I am definitely happy with the results. It’s crazy what something as simple as a haircut can do for one’s confidence. I’m really learning to love myself, and I can only hope this is just the beginning for me. As October draws to a close, I just wanted to make my yearly breast cancer post. I love my mom more than anything. She kicked cancer’s ass, not once, not twice, but THREE times. My buddy called me last night to tell me they were at the hospital and Lauren had finally gotten admitted. Woke up this morning to news that she had given birth.
