This one's been percolating in my brain for a loooooooong time. I've had the red spinatia basically since it was released, and I had this old idea for it that never came to fruition. But when I saw the new portanova full armor set, the shoulders immediately dinged with me cuz they're basically the shoulders of the gerbera tetra from gundam stardust memory.

So I got my hands on a copy of the armor set today and set about tinkering with the kit to "find" the rest of the design for it as I worked got this out of it. A random mech artists' design on pixiv inspired using the thruster legs as a backpack, AND I managed to more or less realize a 30MM version of one of my favorite super niche bullshit anime weapons; the multi-sword-carrying-weaponized-sheath-case!

In lore she'll be twinned with the blue spinatio I already have customized, who also uses katanas. What can I say, love that red/blue twinning, I'm an old Capcom fan after all.
