sometimes, I shrink into my past so deeply it is hard for me to come up to the surface again. the past holds tight onto me (or perhaps I’m holding tight onto my past) and honestly, sometimes I let it get to me. see, nostalgia is a good hell of a liar. nothing was as good as it wants me to believe it was and certainly, there is nothing I can do to go back in time. so, I might as well miss you as long as eternity lasts; at least I’ll be able to write about you until forever.
