hi friends! in light of recent events happening in the U.S. we thought it'd be important and prevalent to release our music video for the song "Nightmare" off of our EP "Trophy Wife"! This song is dedicated to anyone and everyone who has dealt with sexual violence in their lives, and is fighting to create a safer world that brings the forward the discussion of rape culture from the shadows. it is an absolute epidemic, and we in Bruise Violet send all our love and support your way. believe survivors, fuck the patriarchy, and scream until you have no voice left. remember to vote during the midterm elections too, love you <3 -BV

Big news! Due to the unfortunate cancellation of Babes in Toyland on "The Lowertown Line,” we have the incredible opportunity to host Bruise Violet as the headliners for the Oct. 20 show. Tickets are newly available for what is sure to be a terrific show with the up-and-coming "angry harmonic grunge punk” band. What’s not to love? Grab your RSVP today. Hope to see you there! Doors open at 7:00 p.m., Bruise Violet starts at 8 p.m. in the TPT Street Space. Tickets: Free - RSVP through Eventbrite required. *Limited space is available in studio. Randomly decided to go to an all female art and music showcase tonight. I didn’t know any of the artists or bands and didn’t know anyone who was going, but decided to go and get out of my comfort zone and I’m so happy I did. I met a bunch of amazing people, saw some beautiful art and listened to 4 excellent bands. The love was tangible in the room and I am just so glad I wasn’t anywhere else ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
