Most of his nights off Ja’far spent quietly at home, either playing with Marga or catching up on his reading. He most certainly didn’t spend time going to clubs or bars, and he was especially slow to go to strip joints. After all, many of his appointments ended up down that road, so he didn’t have the urge to see more strangers naked. 

This night, however, Marga was at a friend’s house for their birthday, and his so-called friends wouldn’t leave him alone. He hadn’t seen them in a while, but of course the agreed upon locale was a strip club. “I don’t know how you got me to agree to this,” he hissed under his breath, directed at a younger man with tanned skin. “I’ve seen enough nudity for a lifetime, you know.”

“Yeah but I’ve heard the girls here are bomb.” Sharrkan nudged him. “And that’s for other people’s fun. Ain’t it about time you get to enjoy them for yourself?” The Heliohaptian wasn’t about to let this go. Pulling his old Camry up to the Black Velvet gentleman’s lounge he parked and grabbed his wallet. 

“C’mon Ja’far, live a little!”

“Mm. Three and a half thousand, madame.” Normally his overnights run for four, but he likes her and has no one to answer to but himself, so he’s willing to drop his rates slightly.

She shifts out from under her blankets, pleasantly limber and satisfied from the night before. Pulling her wallet from her purse she writes him a check and comes back to pass it to him.

“… I suppose you should be leaving then.”

“Ah, I suppose I should… although, it is still early, I have nothing planned until noon. Would you like to get breakfast? On me, of course. As thanks for becoming a regular client.” He tucked the check into his wallet, gathering up his clothes and beginning to redress.

“I’d love to.”

She smiles and goes to find some clothes; a simple sweater and jeans. She could have truly use some time out just shopping around. Most of her wardrobe consisted of clothes for work and weren’t exactly appropriate in public.

Maybe aspiring to be like his mother wasn’t the best idea but he didn’t care. Kouha liked being able to use his appearance to get what he wanted out of others.

A spark lit in Len’s eyes. It may not have been the most responsible thing to encourage her son to learn stripteasing but Len and Kouha knew the power of desire. She would sooner her son learn the art from herself than someone who would hurt and manipulate him. 

Clicking on a nearby radio a heavy rock beat started to pulse out. “Watch me first. I’ll warn you though: your muscles are going to hurt in ways you never imagined at first.”
