unpopular opinion- the 'golden maknae' thing shouldnt be used in place of actual praise. kookie works really hard and yet on his self written profiles and goals list he writes 'work harder/you need to get better'. i feel like by saying "well that's the golden maknae for you" all the time discredits him and his work. his stability on stage for example, he said he sang while running and doing core exercises to be better live. but people don't acknowledge that.

the fact that people nullifies his hard work by saying ‘oh he’s just the golden maknae’ really pisses me off because he works so hard in everything he does and you can’t just wave that off. i understand he’s capable of doing so much but just because he can doesn’t mean he shouldn’t not be praised. he already brings himself down so much, he doesn’t need the whole world to be saying that his hard work is meaningless
