A really fun project I did with my good pal Jamie Bizness in Vancouver BC. This is called Doom Burger and it features all the juicy treats you can imagine including Cheese Whiz, eyeballs, creep heads, a Snake with its head chopped off, beer cans and Cannabis leaves, Rats, and Sesame seeds on a soft but toasty Canadian hamburger bun. DOOM BURGER was part of a larger Installation of murals and narrative, satirical paintings by J Biz and yours truly, Bud Snow. I think we painted 7 pieces each and some that were collaborative in and of themselves. These works can be found still inside the back of Red Gate Art Society in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver British Columbia. It’s a HEPCAT spot if you know what I mean. Worth checking out for things that are underground, grass roots, creative, contemporary, and community driven.
This blog is a collection of images of things handmade and conceptualized by Bud Snow and Bud Snows “vibrational family” Reed ‘Rascal’ Martini , Mo ‘Money’ Marcel, and Secksee ‘Sonic Boom’ Beech. Featured here is a Bud Snow original in China Town, Oakland CA. Painted last June on the front of music and art venue Babelab, formerly Babeland (they got legally bullied by the same-named Dildo Factory that used to inhabit that space). If you’re in Oakland it runs at 10th and Jackson, 20 feet up.
