I like to make stuff, and how to learn to make new stuff. This is just an outlet for some of my projects.

So, I've been mostly absent from this site for the past 3 years because I've been going to law school. Now it's finally time to graduate (!) and I made all my own invitations and labels

Strung together some green funky looking pearls and black jasper for my mom. Made her a little satin bag to keep it safe too!

Messing around with some enamel on copper lately. I just liked how this one turned out so I made it into a bracelet.

I love collecting enamel pins, and I'm not much of a painter type person, but I slapped some backgrounds on some canvas, and voilà! Pin displays I actually feel good about hanging up, and lots of extra space for more pins!

Made a skirt today out of an old curtain and some scrap lace. It's like the colors were designed for each other! The blue is slightly iridescent.

Work in progress update: finally got the background layers of an enamel cuff how I like. Next week comes the fun part! Unless it all melts. Or breaks. Or runs off.

One of my first design projects, hand-sewn totebag designs. Brings back memories from before I even had a sewing machine (and now I have...um...4? 5? It’s a bit of a problem, really.)

Agatha Heterodyne, Girl Genius (”Science!”) is probably my favorite comic character, and this is one of my favorite costumes. I was so thrilled to get a picture as Agatha with her creators at ECCC this year: from left, Phil Foglio (artist/writer), Cheyenne Wright (colorist), Kaja Foglio (writer).

I love old scientific equipment, so I designed this cross stitch of an antique microscope and some test tubes. And put it on a clutch!

Cross stitch I designed, and a couple of sample throw pillows, to show my love of Todd & the Book of Pure Evil! If you’re not familiar, it’s a somewhat obscure, absolutely hilarious Canadian horror comedy TV show that you absolutely need to watch right now if you like even one of those adjectives. Go. Now.
