PATCHI - Update

tumblr edit: I initially wanted to leave this acc specifically for fan-art related content for now, but I felt like wanting to post this here for now since I wanted to show off the profile I’ll be using across most of my platforms~

Looking back at this, this is how i feel after barely completing an artwork haa.. I've actually been putting off this one for a while and I started this since August-- (its been that long)

Also I mostly wanted to take a crack at this type of composition with Typography, which I think i did good in my first time >:D I would love to hear your guy's thoughts on how you would layout your typography in your art, or any tips on adding more without removing the focus from the artwork itself~ But I would say I kinda tried implementing some of the style i did from the Older one (drawing below) to the newest version

I think in terms of rendering overall I prefer the recent one~

Olivia Park being a Fashion Icon fr (Knights of Guinevere)

First off, I loved her older design and wished we didn't get more moments of her in this outfit cuz it was ICONIC. I just knew i wanted to draw that Also I'm all on board for the broken/traumatized child as the antagonist cuz I feel like we don't get it that often (or atleast from what i've seen)

so yeah Knights of Guinevere is pretty fun~, I personally feel very intrigued with Olivia the most overall character-wise, following up with Frankie for her personality.

Going off topic real quick, huge respect for people who can just draw consistently or at least every week (especially for inktober like damn) because to me, It's been harder to get motivated to finish artworks lately (including this one) when that lil critic in your head constantly annoys you about the littlest mistakes/regrets you had with making the drawing so yeah but ofc overcoming it is hard and it SUCKS.

However on the bright side, I'm attempting to start more drawings and get that motivation back with some art competitions so uh wish me luck~

Also happy spoopy month ya'll, I'll eventually come back when i come back- (hopefully later this month once I'm done with my pieces)

IQ DUNGEON FANART SKETCH #1

I caved in so bad Lmao, I finished this game a couple of weeks ago then just had that impulse to drop everything else— also I desperately need to see a fandom for this game because I cannot stress enough on how clever and creative this logical puzzle game (that’s the only most legit one i’ve ever played) and I WILL CONTINUE to praise and get other people to play this game- ESPECIALLY THE SECOND ONE anyway just gonna drop two more sketches then post what i’ve been originally planning on posting for a while hehe

Dimsum with Gaming (Genshin fanart)

Just another Coloring/rendering practice for 2-3 days with ANOTHER 2023-2024 sketch I couldn't finish. Fun fact: I initially main Gaming and Kazuha during my Genshin days back then with their fun gimmicks, and also I initially planned on making a whole illustration with Gaming eating a whole feast with traveller but I think I ended up bailing bec I struggled (still am-) with furniture/background design-

Other than that, my main goal wasn't to make this artwork refined or clean like most of my artworks, hence why everything else is less rendered other than the face and hair- I also tried using halftones here, which is cool and will probably use again for future artworks.

KUSUO SAIKI but wait a minute.. (SWAP AU FANART

Its been a minute- but alas, I finally cooked up something I didn’t really wanna post another fanart and was gonna initially show some more original character concepts but um yeah.. I wanted to take a break by experimenting with my artstyle and practice coloring;;

On a related note, I just wanna say Disastrous Life of Saiki K. still SLAPS as a comedy classic, and rewarding the series reminded me of that. I was going to draw classic Saiki until i stumbled onto a fanart of a swap au Saiki and Teruhashi made by Yeageryan I knew in my heart I *NEED* to draw them asap.

Anyway I just wanted to draw Saiki just being done with Teruhashi’s “curse”. Also speaking of Teruhashi, I had this vision for her swap counterpart to look a bit different from how people would draw her by giving her contacts but at the same time I loved seeing Teruhashi with glasses aswell so I just made two different variations instead.

I do wanna share the reason why and some more brainrot ideas I have for these swap counterparts but since this is already long I’ll have to leave that info dump in the comments—

I love Mk and Mei’s Sibling/Bestfriend dynamic alot and I was so glad that It’s kept that way throughout the show. Anyways I wanted to try drawing interactions between characters so I thought these two would be the perfect!

So yeah, as simple as this drawing kinda is (other than me just goofing off with the effects bcuz why not lmao) it took me 3 WHOLE weeke to finish this just because of school >:(((

But yeah genuinely just wanted to finish this so I kinda kept it simple (tho i think i’m glad i didnt do much with the bg cuz alot of stuff is happening already haha)

My Favourite Prosekai Girlie

I tried giving her a sorta dynamic pose- and it looks oke igg. I mostly enjoyed just the coloring but I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH how my perfectionism kept working on the background since i wanted to do sum fun but i just went simple since i was just mentally tired working on her (especially the patterns on her clothes my god)

Anyway whoever did An's Design seriously COOKED with this one but I was just nearly defeated by her clothes and the whole coloring process sjsbskns

Saiyan Anne - Screenshot Redraw (sort of)

I just wanted to post this since it was in my gallery for a while now LMAO

not to mention this was kinda old- so my artstyle definitely changed since then. Initially I wanted to redraw this again, but since I’m currently still making some artworks on the go while being busy, I don’t have the motivation to redo all this again haha (which is a shame since this was the first time I drew Anne)

ANYWAYS I miss Amphibia so muchh, and I am planning on doing a rewatch soon since it was one of my comfort shows. Speaking of which, Anne’s final design is so COOL I cannot express the amount of excitement I had the first time she was on screen, The designers just killed the trio’s design with Anne’s being my favorite imo. So yeah, I might end up doing the redraw for the other three with the current artstyle i have BUT we’ll see if i can stay motivated enough hehe-
