British airborne ww2, model for many other special forces in the immediate postwar and a good idea for the Elite militia class
Stats: High speed, strength, stealth and accuracy, very strong melee
Weapons: Light SMG, heavy Elite submachine gun (base on sterling sub), 4 x grenades, assault carbine (higher reliability and accuracy, class specific) C4.
Albanian revolutionary army as militia class ref. for women.
WW2 tanker outfits as a model for the sapper class which will grow out of the militia class and eventually become the artillery commander class
Sapper: Can plant mines, has a grenade launcher and pistol
Sapper Veteran: Mortar for longer range attacks, pump shotgun for up close, C4/heavy explosive to blow barriers/walls , more health
Close support sapper: Calls in attacks from airplanes and artillery (learns stronger and better with xp) can drop health/ammo, pump shotgun or carbine rifle
(Close support attacks leave sapper vunerable and if killed before call in turn, attack is canceled)
German special forces ww2 custom Telo Mimetico smock (the earliest printed camo from Italy) could be a model for the militia camo pattern, like how subtle and Mediterranean it is.
CIA sponsored Cuban exiles in the 2506 brigade, could be the model for Militia class, a workaday soldier class that would wield the best rifles and SMG’s
Miltia recruit: Carbine rifle, light SMG, shotgun, grenades x 2 , appearance would be plain fatigues in the manner of cuban revolutionaries with cloth cap (melee is powerful bayonet)
Militia Veteran: would have a camo fatigues, beret and rucksack
Weapons: Assault rifle, grenade launcher, grenades x 3, pump action shotgun and heavy smg
Heavy Militia: Slower speed, but heavier armour, similar to brawler/grappler,
Weapons: prototype Assault rifle, portable missile launcher, Grenades x 4, C4 charge, Heavy SMG, commando knife incredibly strong knockdown melee (base looks on navy Seals in Vietnam with helmet)
Syldavia worldbuilding: the fictional balkan nation at the heart of many of the Tintin adventures. Good model for the world of Cadre.
PPsh43 and Beretta-38 as models for heavy submachine gun upgrade
Swedish k gun, possible model for the light sub-smg in game
Use Castro, Che and other Cuban revolutionaries as models for the Commander class:
Will work similar to the dancer/bard class in Fire Emblem... main ability is to give combat buffs or an extra move to nearby characters, has good speed and movement but weak attack and very weak defence.
Junior commander: Revolver Pistol
(At this stage the commander can evolve into the artillery commander branch (dark wizard type) or Assault Commander (Leads to Special forces commander, something like fortress knight or knight)
Veteran Commander: Revolver, light smg, carbine rifle
Professional Commander: Revolver, pump shotgun, heavy smg, carbine rifle (slightly more armour)
Sylvian plane from Tintin universe, could have a single prop plane as first stage of ground attack bonus, machine guns strafe
Women of the French resistance, a model for the female Partizan classes
Douglas invader ground attack plane, utilised by the CIA in its covert invasion of Cuba in the bay of pigs invasion, as well as ground attack in the Korean War and Vietnam.
Could be the model for the early ground attack strafing bonus
Sicilian bandits as model for the male Partizan class of light infantry.
Partizans will have three classes:
Partisan: Melee (switchblade) and pistols
Veteran Partisan: Melee (machete) , pistols, double barrel shotgun, bolt action rifle molotov cocktail
Heavy Partisan: Carbine Rifle, SMG, Melee (bayonet) , grenades, Molotov cocktail
Partizan class will have less health than Militia, Heavy Militia or Commando/Covert classes but they will have more movement and be less easily detected with a strong melee attack.
Hungarian 44M Tas prototype heavy tank.
“The 44M Tas was a Hungarian medium tank, in earlier Hungarian knowledge classified as a heavy tank design of World War II. It was developed to combat heavily armored Soviet tanks encountered on the Eastern Front and to replace the older Turán I and Turán II tanks which Hungary operated, modernising Hungary's armoured forces. The Tas somewhat resembled the German Panther tank in terms of both looks and capabilities. It was to be well armored – up to 120 mm thick and with sloped armor. The main armament would likely have been a Hungarian built heavily modified anti-tank version of the 80 mm Bofors AA gun. The only prototypes built were destroyed when the Americans bombed the Weiss Manfréd factory in July 1944.”
