As usual, basic character info, lore and extra notes under the cut!

Age: 22

Pronouns: all of them and you better be switching mid sentence or they’re sad about it

Real name: The crow works just fine. No need to learn the real one. 

Skills: Disguise, Trickery and distraction. He’s also very flexible and absolutely iconic at juggling. Also very good at insulting people. Also good at acting/impersonation

Weaknesses: Gets very attached to people, horrible at being sneaky (they want to be seen), hates following rules, anger issues

Personality: Chaotic is a good way to describe it. Incredibly protective over friends/lovers but is also like so chaotic and lwk a horrible person don’t worry about it.

Lore! (note, this was pretty much all fleshed out with the help of my friend, and Luckie's creator @plasticbutterisluckie)

Crow was always expected to be a good kid with perfect grades and was ignored if anything less, which is why they hurt your eyes and ears whenever they’re around people now. Don’t ignore them. he’ll cry. And also probably stab you. She’s always been very not… interested in a typical career and went to study at vile academy with their best friend Luckie the same year as gray and Carmen. This was the only year of his life where he wasn't an insufferable prankster. (They couldn't get expelled! She had to get this job to get out of their house. Also he really really wanted it).

He and Luckie passed with flying colours. And then Luckie started to realize how much they didn't exactly love the work they were doing and failed a mission on purpose, which ended in their capture and subsequent memory wipe. Everyone in the class was just told Luckie defected and ran away, and since Crow was so close to Luckie, they took it horribly. (broke a couple of windows, some valuable items, lots of screaming. Mostly swear words). Man got real mad at his best friend for leaving her. Can't blame them really.

Meanwhile, Luckie was having trauma that I'll make butter post about later (i'll link it whenever they do) and ended up working for... interpol/acme (look this one is my child so I don't have the details but this important) and now crow and luckie keep running into each other on the job. It goes... poorly for both as crow remembers luckie and luckie doesn't remember crow at all. Also crow's still mad and is an asshole the entire time. Crow thinks luckie is pretending not to remember as well, but also keeps telling them stories about their past (non-vile related, or with things changed to keep within not getting in trouble territory) and it's a fun dynamic.

After Carmen leaves, Gray and Crow bond over having close friends who defected and both of them are kind of mad and sad and it's just... yeah they get pretty close. I mean what else do you do?

Blah blah blah stuff I figure out eventually.

Gray gets his memory wiped and CROW IS PISSED. he's not having a good time. She's breaking more shit. And also probably stabbing someone. There was a knife somewhere in that entire situation. Man kind of had to be knocked out/tranquilized. (not that worked very well for reasons in the extras/notes section)

And that's about all I've got for lore here. I haven't really thought about what exactly happens with them in the actual series. but I will. eventually.

Crazy that the absolute creature I came up with three days ago has the most detailed lore. (aiko has more but like... I don't think it's written.)

This one's an absolute freak in every manner of the word.

Crow and Luckie are me and butter's sonas... and these are kind of aus of those sonas??? Not really but kind of. Inspired by/related to those sonas.

The whole relation to the sona's thing is why there's some specific things about Korone that are kind of... superhuman. My sona is a god... of trickery and shit. They don't really mess with any of their aspects (this is one of them I guess) unless someone hurts them/or they get REALLY angry, in which case... uhhh, yeah they take control until the aspect's calmed down or the body can't move anymore. doesn't happen often, but it's a cool little thing I said can happen for angst based reasons. that's about it though. all the relation. This little guy is very much a different character otherwise. He's so silly.

This one is polyam, pan and gender... there's not really a word for it. Just... gender. So this one is probably going to be shipped with anyone legal and who's NOT LUCKIE. No luckie ships. they're just friends.

They practiced a whole bunch of circus tricks/things they'd do at the circus as a kid when she wished he could run away from home. Xe never did, but you know, he thought about it.

I've been considering Crow a cousin or something of Zach and Ivy. I dunno. We'll see eventually.

They wear the second mask after he loses luckie and gray. 'Cause they're incapable of properly smiling anymore.

Will bite you. And then stab you. And then pat your had. Such a guy.

Jeantonio call each friends on capers and just in general because while they are in a romantic relationship they are also just friends. Like their dynamic is not just the romance they are also absolutely besties and sometimes that's just the vibe. They'll also call each other my love when this the vibe. They are in love and also besties.

El Topo and Le Chevre substitute for coach brunt sometimes. They are always doing this together. I refuse to elaborate further.

Korone can and will just steal whatever shiny things they see from pretty much anyone and will not give it back every and they have a giant box full of random shinies (though it's not all they've stolen, any jewelry or accessories get organized with the rest of them)

Korones stats if he was a dnd guy in descending order: charisma, dexterity, intelligence, constitution, strength, wisdom.

Explanations for why:

Charisma: his job is lying to you and being a model

Dexterity: very flexible circus performer man

Intelligence: she knows a lot about a lot of things

Constitution: constantly being in pain makes handling most discomfort easier methinks

Strength: he has upper body strength kind of but other than that shes weak af

Wisdom: just a fuckin dumbass honestly. No common sense whatsoever

Also he's probably a bard (or a warlock) and ostensibly human. I mean like not really but ostensibly.

Korone is a man who does many many photoshoots and loves feeling gorgeous. This isn't new information or anything just felt relevant to mention.

They also have chronic pain and are constantly just injured in some capacity.

Korone is wholly incapable of keeping a bandage on for longer than like five hours (specifically plasters) but like, anything they can pull off themselves. She just fidgets with them and it's not very helpful. He does care a lot about properly cleaning their wounds tho.

Korone is just a little bit kind of terrified of bugs. Like not to the point of can't see photos, but like if there is a big/insect moving around in the same space as him she will genuinely flinch and hide behind people.

Korone's apartment-thing (I don't feel like words today) is circus themed. There is a room that is almost entirely filled with mirrors, but they're not funhouse mirrors they are just for Korone to stare at themselves (actually more for adjusting hair/outfits.)

The entire is circus themed in a very curated way and it is distinctly not messy. Except for their bedroom, which is messy and nobody is allowed to see it. (insert exception here)

Also it's all orange and green and not red and white.

Also also there are just mirrors pretty much everywhere, not just the mirror room, so Korone can check their makeup and outfit and also for needing to remember that she does in fact have a body that is real. he forgets this often.

Also walk in closet. There is one and it's big and meticulously organised. There's so many clothes and accessories in there. Just. So. Many. (they've got so many clothes from modeling and stuff they buy and disguises and events and also just comfy clothes and it's not his fault she loves clothes)

Nobody except Korone really likes being there. Korone is having a great time though, and that's all that matters.

Korone does wear black actually because I don't know what the thought process was behind them not. Like it's unnecessary. They can be so visible in black + gives me more clothing options + other ulterior motives.

Korone's favourite (not really he loves all her birds) is named Columbina and really likes Korone.

Also only like five other operatives (+ the people who do most of the work taking care of the birds, plants and all that) are even allowed in and only like 2 have keys and are allowed in unsupervised.

Gods they're so insufferable

This is a fic, yes. Koroma (obligatory Korone is my beautiful son and gamma is @samthegreatfandomman's)

College-ish AU. Korone is a model working with Countess Cleo and Gamma is an intern... basically adopted child of a billionaire Bellum. They're also both grad students (philosophy and physics. This is not relevant I just wanted to share) They also kind of hate each other and are insufferable about it. There is a kiss scene, and generally just mostly them insulting each other. It's fun. 1.6k words.

“Oh. It’s you again.” Korone said, glancing at the person who just walked in before going back to checking his nails. 

“The sentiment is shared.” the person (his name was Gamma, though Korone was quite sure that was his idea, no self respecting parent would dare name their child that) responded, matching Korone’s venom. 

Gamma was an intern at the company Korone’s manager was currently working with. Some big tech company, selling a variety of weird tech items. Korone was supposed to be an actor in some advertisements, and probably do some photoshoots, which would be the reason they were waiting around for her boss to finish up meeting with Gamma’s boss. For about the third time this week. Which was also the explanation for why Korone, the very well known model and all around icon knew the name of a random intern. Well that and the fact that they had run into each other (literally, incredibly annoyingly) multiple times on campus. 

None of that had exactly helped their relationship. Or really, lack thereof. The only redeeming quality Korone saw in Gamma was really how good he looked. Or at least, that was the only redeeming quality, until Countess stopped paying as much attention to Korone and started begging Gamma to model for her. 

“So. How long until I can stop seeing you?” Korone asked, his boredom creating a need for entertainment. An argument would certainly provide that. 

“I don’t know. Doc really seems to enjoy your manager’s company quite a bit. You might just have to put up with me forever.” Gamma said. He was certainly not serious, but Korone shuddered at the thought nonetheless. 

“Trying to kill me? Just the thought of that makes me want to puke.”

Gamma glared at Korone. “Maybe I’ll have to take up the modeling offer then. If just this amount of being around me might kill you, I can only imagine how peaceful my life would be after a couple of days.”  

Korone stood up, grabbing their cane, her chair hitting the wall. “You wouldn’t dare. You’re a coward.” 

Gamma shrugged and Korone saw a hint of a smile at their reaction. “Am I?”

Korone gave Gamma a once over, taking a step towards him. “You are. You would die, having a camera pointed at you all day. Being swooned over by obsessive fans. Being interviewed all the time. Too many people I’m sure.” Korone paused, but not long enough for Gamma to respond. “And, you do generally need any fashion sense to model. Can’t go out wearing that.” 

In all honesty, Gamma looked perfectly fine. His hair was clearly well cared for, shiny but clearly not greasy, hip length. His clothes were relatively boring, but not by any means unflattering. The only real issue was the eye bags, and Korone knew that plenty of people would swoon over the exhausted look. Korone was one of them.

Gamma, surprisingly and annoyingly, didn’t seem all that offended. He returned the once over, and the stepping closer, now the two of them were only an arm’s length away, and spoke, “And you’re so perfect? Like you don’t get wasted at parties every other night so you don’t have to think about the fact that you hate your own face.”

“At least I’m not a random billionaire’s pet to show off and train.” 

Gamma scoffed at that. “That’s a bloody lie and you know it. Don’t pretend like you’re better than me just because it’s literally your job to be shown off.”

“I am better than you though. I’m better than everyone.” 

“At sitting around and looking pretty, maybe, nothing much else of worth there really.”

 Korone smiled. “You think I’m pretty. That’s all I need.”

Gamma, for some reason, returned the smile. “Oh? You care about my opinion that much?” Fuck. Korone did say that. 

“Hardly. Just nice to know that even someone who hates me can’t help but be attracted to me. It’s cute.”

“I didn’t say I was attracted to you. Just that you’re pretty.” Gamma said, though, the redness of his face said otherwise. 

“You are. It’s obvious. It’s unavoidable you know. I am incredibly attractive.” Korone smirked, seeing an opportunity to further turn the tables on Gamma. “You know, if you weren’t so rude, I might’ve kissed you.” 

Korone is very happy to get the reaction they were hoping for. Incredibly and visibly flustered. It’s almost cute.

Deciding to push even further, Korone gives Gamma another once over, landing their eyes right on Gamma’s lips. “You know, I can’t blame Countess for wanting you as a model. You are beautiful.” 

A moment passes, tension making time pass slow and the air thick. 

The tension is broken the moment Gamma grabs Korone’s collar and pulls him in for a kiss. Korone gasps, their heartbeat pounding in their ears. Despite her surprise, he leans into the kiss. Gamma's hands are cold, a pleasant feeling against Korone's skin, and his hair is soft when it brushes up against Korone’s face. 

The kiss doesn't last nearly as long as Korone wants it to. After a mere couple of seconds, Gamma pulls away, letting go of Korone's collar. 

He stares at Korone for a moment before running to the door, pushing it open quickly and letting it slam shut. 

Korone is left somewhat flustered, confused and distracted when their manager and Doctor Bellum enter the waiting room. 

“Where's my dear boy? I told him to come meet with me after this appointment.” Doctor Bellum asks. 

Korone blinks, taking a moment to realize the question is directed at them. “Oh. He didn't come in. Not sure where he is.”

The Countess walks over to Korone, grabbing her face. “Your makeup. It's smudged. What did you do?”

Korone shrugs. “I forgot I had it on and touched my face too much. I'm sorry, I'll fix it before we do anything else.”

The Countess sighs dramatically, massaging her temple. “Go. Do that now. You have a photoshoot in half an hour.”

“That wasn’t on my schedule. Does that mean the meeting went well?” Korone asks, annoyed at the change in plans. 

“Very well. Wouldn’t you say Saira?” Countess gives the Doctor a look. Korone glances away, not wanting to think about that specific look’s implications. 

Doctor Bellum nods, distractedly typing something on her phone, probably asking her ‘dear boy’ where he is. “Yes yes very well.” 

Korone hopes he’ll lie too. The idea of anyone knowing anything about what just happened makes them shudder. They’re not supposed to be doing anything with anyone. They’ve only gotten away with things so far by being the farthest thing from sober when they happened. Lectures from Countess and his parents sound… exhausting.

It has been three days and Korone was still thinking about the kiss. And about how he needed to make sure Gamma would not tell a soul. Unfortunately, it seemed Korone wouldn't get a chance to run into the intern at his job for a while, which left them with the goal of trying to find one person in a huge college campus without even knowing their schedule. 

He got lucky, seeing Gamma after leaving her only lecture of the day. He got even luckier that Gamma didn't see them. Something told her that Gamma would've ran the other way if he had seen them. 

Perhaps it was the fact that Korone basically had to pin Gamma to a wall to get him to stay still and listen. 

“If you tell a soul about what happened on Saturday, I will personally ensure you will never have a moment of peace and quiet in your life again. Okay?”

Gamma scoffs at that, annoyingly confident for someone can't exactly escape the situation. (At least for the next five minutes, Korone wasn’t sure they’d be able to stand still for much longer than that)

“Don’t act like a single kiss would ruin your reputation. We both know how messy you get at parties” 

Korone glances around, checking for people who could overhear. Luckily, they’ve ended up in a rather secluded location. Somehow. 

“Oh, so you’ve been stalking me? I’m flattered.” Korone responds, only half sarcastically really. 

“Hardly. But it’s a bit hard to ignore when it’s all people talk about. You know, people talk about you a lot. You know, people have been asking me what it’s like to work with you. I’ve been ignoring them, but I might just have to tell them everything next time,” Gamma says, clearly trying to get a rise out of Korone. 

It works. Korone can barely find the words to think of a response before Gamma starts speaking again. 

“I wonder what would be the most interesting to people, the fact that I’m your type, or the fact that you’re not a very good kisser.” Gamma smirks. 

“Me? A bad kisser? So you’re a liar and insufferable?” Korone questions, leaning in closer to Gamma. 

“Maybe I just have a bad memory. A lot happened that day. Maybe you should prove me wrong.”

Korone laughs, pulling back from Gamma. “Gods you’re obvious. Can’t even argue with me without basically begging for a kiss. You’ll have to try a bit harder than that next time.” 

Gamma raises an eyebrow. “Next time?” 

“Maybe. Now I have places to be. Now if the idea of a next time is as exciting to you as you’re acting like it is, no one hears about this. Kay?” Korone gives Gamma their best ready for film smile, before skipping off, thinking. The interaction was a net positive for them. Plenty of information that she can actually use for his own benefit. And it was fun.

a/n: I think this one is good? Not sure. Most of it was written right before I went to sleep and I've got no memory of a lot of it, but I think I liked it. Have fun.

Genuinely can't express how annoying it is to me that I honestly can't justify saying VILE is futuristic enough for them to have managed like incredibly safe cosmetic (in a specific way) body modifications. Like changing eye colour (you can do this, but it's not exactly the safest, it's the one I could probably justify the best), making eyes that have clocks in them, tattoos that move with heart rate, a million other little things that are so whimsical and so very cool. But like, can't justify them being that sci-fi. Which sucks because when I tell you Korone would be obsessed I do mean it. When I tell you Korone would have different eyes every week and a different new weird thing every other day, I mean it. It would so be their worst vice (worse than drinking or gambling somehow).

That being said I do need to give this absolute loser more tattoos pronto. Closest thing I can get ;-;

Korone is a huge fan of physical media. They prefer physical copies of everything. Especially books. They love annotating and writing notes on the pages. They also have records of all the albums they like. And CDs. He had DVDs/Blu-rays of all her favourite movies and TV shows. Something something they like how it feels to have a physical copy and also a complete and utter distrust in most tech.

I feel it is important to note that Cleo does actually kind of appreciate Korones chaos. Just not when it's directed at her. She really enjoys being the only person who Korone isn't an absolute chaos gremlin towards, it gives her a nice sense of superiority. But she very much also encourages the chaos when it benefits her. Especially directed towards anyone who offends her. Or when it's helpful when the law is getting a bit too close to whatever VILE is up to. Sometimes Cleo gets a bit of a laugh out of it too.

More korone shit!

Korones hair is pretty thick and very corse, which is generally how they get it so fluffy. They do style it usually but not too much.

They do love a good clown makeup

She can doa lot of makeup without looking in the mirror

He really likes cinematography

And photography

And theatre

Xer just a guy who has whimsy okay

Is very good at mario kart, specifically concerningly good at any edition of rainbow road

Plays other video games, usually isn't that good at them

Has probably played a couple of gacha games (nikki series I'm looking at you) but just realized that they do not have the time

Is like actually a professional model. Though usually when modeling they wear a face covering of some sort because he does not want her photo taken without one

still has to deal with people recognizing him tho

only sometimes though, and only in places were fashion is like a big thing

Was kind of forced to wead coloured contacts as a kid because their parents didn't really love the whole orange eyes thing

Has a whole bunch of small scars all over her body from doing stupid shit

Gets like insanely loopy when they're tired

has definitely covered parts of VILE with graffiti. Usually is asked to clean it up, but there are a couple of spots where it's kept because it looks good in Cleo's eyes (I mean it all looks good he's an artist)

if you watch a movie with her do not expect them not to be critiquing it or pointing out decisions in framing and acting for half of it
