My headcanon: Miss Heed fights in kickboxing style, or at very least she knows how to box.
Quite obviously, she uses her metahuman powers to sway her opponents to her side using the drug formula she obtained from dr. Flugslys. However! She does have a need to get close enough to blow the vapour their way without getting hurt or blacking out in one move or less.
So in short, she needs to hold her own in a fight too!
In all the photos she posted on her instagram account (the ones she posts during her fights) it's evident that she's leaving the fights largely unscathed, which means she must have another form of defense aside from the vapour cloud.
Neither does she use any weapons in her fights, which means she's throwing hands most likely.
(I know that in theory, she could just edit them, but for now please just entertain me(PLEASE)).
In all the scenes where she fights, she's the one most likely to throw a punch and in one pic she kicks the villain away which made me think of kickboxing.
Here, she's training her punches, which could make sense if her main thing is boxing, she even has custom pink gloves for it, which makes me think she gives the punching bag a lot of her time, at least enough to warrant buying them imo.
My most important argument, which sourced this little headcanon, is this picture right here:
Boxing gloves? Not really suits such a feminine, pick me girl. A better choice would have been her pink lasso which she uses, but instead of that she gives a figurine for little girls boxing gloves? In my mind, it would mean she's more recognized by her gloves than her lasso.
Now, my weakest argument, though something i want to add nonetheless is how she poses after she won a fight.
She uses her legs to keep them under her boot. The way her legs are posed in the winning pictures reminds me yet again of kickboxing.
...now, about my headcanon.
Yes, i do recognize the evidence gathered in the post is frankly quite weak and can be countered by many arguments such as:
- She knows she's on camera, so she poses in cliche poses she can post on her socials.
- her gloves are custom made because she's vain and needs to have everything made in aesthetically pleasing way. Additionionally, she could have bought the gloves just for the picture.
- her lasso is less of a fighting weapon and more of an after-fight device that can restrain the villains so they can't get away.
- punching bags are a common way to train, most gyms have them and training on them doesn't automatically make someone a boxer.
- the toy figurine also has a shield and a sword, which she has never been seen using, which makes the whole argument null.
And probably many more! Delusional as that may be i find my headcanon possible imo
