First things first, she needed to know more about this place - she didn't even knew the name of this town. She had noticed a small shop on the side of the road next to her campsite, and decided to go there to gather informations. The guy that welcomed her looked weird, but at least, he didn't seemed to be possessed - for now. He told her about some conspiracy theory he believed in. According to him, the military was doing secret researches in town, and that it was the reason why some inhabitants were like possessed. He told her she should wear a helmet to protect herself. Elizabeth had never been into conspiracy theories, and this helmet was really ugly, but she had to admit something off went on in this town. Wearing it couldn't hurt, right ?

The next morning when Elizabeth woke up, a woman dressed like a secret agent was standing in her kitchen space She said she worked for the government, and had to take Elizabeth's fridge. Why on earth would the government be interested in her fridge? They left a note in the kitchen, but this was very strange.

But it wasn't the only strange looking thing in town. When she opened her door, Elizabeth saw people behaving in a very weird looking way. They seemed almost ... possessed and one of them even tried to break into her bus.

Elizabeth didn't knew waht to do : her guts told her to run as fast as possible, but she was really curious about the whole thing. And moreover, she really wanted to get her fridge back

After a few weeks in Sulani, Elizabeth decided she wanted to leave. She met great people in Sulani, but she wanted to see more of the world, and had no strong attachments to this place. But this time, she had a plan : she would travel to Granite Falls. She loved fishing, and Kamala had told her there were lots of great fishing spots hidden in the woods. But shortly after leaving Sulani, as she was going through a small town in the desert, her bus ran out of gas, and she had to stop for the night at a little campground on the outskirts of the town

Something felt a bit off to Elizabeth, but she didn't paid to much attention to it at first. Of course, there were strange violet plants on the ground, and she had noticed a weird looking military base while driving to the campground, but nothing abnormal ... right ?

While fishing alone one day, Elizabeth met Kamala. They got along really well - she was kind, funny, and overall very friendly to Elizabeth. Elizabeth told her everything about her life, and about Kado. Kamala gave her advice to move on and forget about this guy from Mount-Komorebi. Elizabeth should go out, have fun, and enjoy her time in Sulani.

Elizabeth decided to follow her advice : she met ton of new people, and made really good friends along the way.

And when she met Enele on the beach one day, and he asked her out, she said yes. After all, Kamala told her to have fun and enjoy Sulani, and that's exactly what she was going to do.

Elizabeth decided to stay a little bit in Sulani, the time for her to heal from what happened, and to discover a new part of the world. She had always dreamt of visiting Sulani, and spent hours swimming in the lagoon, fishing, and enjoying the sunshine.

Elizabeth and Kado grew closer as time went on. They even decided to try to reach the top of the mount Komorebi together. It took them quite some time, but the view at the top was quite rewardingworth everything they wnet through. They slept there to admire the sun rising above the mountain in the morning.

After they climbed down, Elizabeth invited Kado back to the bus to celebrate their accomplishment. Elizabeth, in the heat of the moment, tried to kiss him. Her heart was broken when he told her he was married, and his wife was pregnant.

She felt betrayed, and incredibly hurt - he forgot to mention his wife before. That night, she decided to pack up her stuff, and drove as far as she could from Mount Komorebi. She never wanted to see him again. After a few day driving, she arrived in Sulani and parked her bus next to a volcano. Everything was so beautiful and calm out there - but the most beautiful landscape was not enough for her to forget about the betrayal.

Soon enough, Elizabeth knew Mount Komorebi as if she were born there. She began going on long walks in the forest, exploring the secrets of this enchanted place. She even got better at ski, and learned some impressive tricks.

But she felt a bit lonely. She never expected life on the road to be like that - she was more or less always alone. She even tried to befriend Yamachan, but all it could do was singing and dancing - Elizabeth got annoyed pretty quickly by the green mascot.

While walking through the forest one afternoon, she met Kado. They became friends and bonded over their shared interest for hiking and rock-climbing.

He introduced her to Mount Komorebi's local culture. Elizabeth didn't quite knew what impressed her the most between the snow festival and its magical ice sculptures, and the traditionnal lights festival.

Hitting the road for the first time

Elizabeth O'Connor grew up in Henford-on-Bagley - as much as she enjoyed living there, it always felt kind of small out there. She had always wanted to travel the world, meet all kinds of new people, and live a much larger life than anything she could aspire to staying there. On her 18th birthday, she left everything she had known behind her, bought a small converted bus with her grandma's inheritance and went to Mount Komorebi - she had always wanted to learn how to ski

At first of course, it was catastrophic : she couldn't stop falling and hurting herself - but she did'nt gave up. It was her lifelong dream, and she finally was living it.

Hello Hello!

After a lot of new tries and explorations, the Maison Meulière set is finally out! It' s a kit focusing on French XIXs houses. You will get 43 new items to help you build the french house of your dreams, all the items are BG compatible. You can find them (except the wallpapers) by searching for Pierisim or Maison Maulière into your searching bar!

Some textures work for several items. That's why I merged the set, to be sure everything works fine. If you decide to unmerge the set, be sure to keep the .package files that have texture at the end of their names. Items from the same family share their texture, for example, the brick windows toghether, the woodden windows together, the shutters together etc.

Speaking of shutters, there's 3 size fo shutters : small, medium and high but also a close and far version. As the windows havent the same depth, I made two versions of the shutter, one close to the wall and the other one far. Like this, you can put shutters on the wood or the bricks windows.

On the road again ...

Last week I talked about diversity in historical simming and about how I tried to create more diverse storylines for my historical save.

Today I would like to introduce the Morio family. They are travellers, going from villages to towns with their circus and performing shows for the locals.

Joseph is the soul of the family. With his two daughters Eulalia and Zelina, they travelled the world and he taught them everything he knew about music. When Zelina married Paolo and had two children, Mariana and Enrico, the family had to buy another trailer and to hit the road again so they could feed the growing family.

They get some money by playing music in towns and by performing in the evening in the circus, while Paolo keeps police forces away or bargain with the merchants of the town market.

Zelina inherited psychic powers from her late mother and holds some seances for villagers in her trailer. Spirits have never let her down, and they guide her on the road, keeping her whole family safe.

And when the sun goes down, the whole family gathers around the fire. There, the children can learn about the myths and legends of the travellers community, and listen to old songs about the road while eating marshmallows.

And while Joseph, like every night, falls asleep next to the fire, Eulalia continues to play to violin in her trailer.

Tomorrow, they will be on the road again, heading towards a new city and a brighter future. They could also stay a little more in Windenburg, but spirits will show them the way to go.

Let's talk about social diversity in historical simming ...

Sooo I have been looking around on the historical simblr for quite some time now and looking at content I noticed how every single decade challenge started quite in the same way : a cute family, quite rich, often farmers, overwhelmingly english/americans and/or christians. But the 19th Century, and especially the beginning of the Decade Challenge, which is set in 1890s, is far from being all about farming and a simple rural life. Lots of people had an entirely different reality : immigrants, workers, travellers, merchants, etc.. That's why I came up with the idea of sharing some alternative historical storylines I created for my WIP savefile. Everything is not super historically accurate, especially because finding working class CC outfits for this time period was quite a challenge in itself, but I tried my best. Let's begin for today with the Rossi family.

Carlo Rossi (in the middle) arrived in Northern France in the early 1890s with his late wife Maria. They migrated with their five children Martha, Giuseppe, Luigia, Guglielma and Regina from their alpine valley in northern Italy. Hoping to find better jobs prospects, they settled down in the small industrial town of Windenburg and live in this tenement, where their children grew up.

But Maria died of tuberculosis a few years ago and Carlo has never been the same man again. He loses his temper quite easily and stopped working, thus forcing his children to make even longer shifts in the factory to pay the bills. But Guglielma's mental and physical health is getting worse every day from working herself to death in the factory, and her family is getting really concerned.

The family really broke in pieces when Martha came home and announced to her father that she was pregnant outside the bonds of marriage. For the very catholic Carlo, this was unacceptable, and would bring shame and despair to the family. Martha got a smaller appartment next door and her relationship with her father deteriorated a lot. However, Carlo could not resist the adorable little Jacques, who won his grandpa's affection in a heartbit. But Carlo is way too fierce to make amends and reconcile with Martha. Will this family ever find peace again, and overcome its struggles ?

Summers in Henford Lingerie Dress

Ok, so... i've been wanting to make some edwardian dresses lately and Cottage Living has been the perfect pack for that. Funny Thing is that i finished this dress days ago but i haven't done the Previews because of THIS project i've been obsessed lately.. Cross Stitch is VERY demanding time wise.

This Dress is inspired on those 1905-06 so called Lingerie Dresses. Lingerie dresses were lightweight dresses, usually in white or an off-white shade, featuring pintucks, inset lace, tone-on-tone embroidery, and other delicate detailing, usually worn as summer wear in the late 19th and first quarter of the 20th century. They were usually made of cotton, and slightly less frequently in linen, with more expensive versions were made in silk. They were primarily worn by younger women.So, that's why they are perfect for those idilic summer strolls at the Bramblewood and looking stunnig while taking care of your cattle.
