again not that other spaces are a lot better 🤷 i'm mostly thinking about this because a roleplay server i was in of all things would talk about having a 'problematic person clause' that let them kick anyone who didn't pass the 'vibe check' which unsurprisingly means this server is mostly afabs with the exception of 2 transfems one of which learned to type in the 'tumblr way' so she's not considered a threat and one of which is someone who people like when they're funny but won't engage with their genuine discussions

#and the owner told me on call he suspected one of the members was a minor for i guess like. talking too much #but it reminded me a lot of being in this community

on this blog for a sec to grab some stuff and i don't have a lot to say but i really hated this place and ever since i left it i've made so many more autistic and transfem friends that would have been absolutely ripped to shreds here for doing things like typing with proper grammar and talking too much and not immediately understanding why things like hazbin hotel and fucking. minecraft youtubers are problematic

i'm not saying to not have standards or boundaries but i genuinely think it'd do a lot of people a lot of help to think about why moralistic spaces like these and the 'antiship community' tends to devolve into just being openly anti-transfem anti-autistic anti-anyone in the world who wouldn't have the necessary context preloaded into their brains

#and because i know people here are incapable of not thinking in absolutes: i am not proship. i am not telling you to become proship.#i am not telling you the proship community is better. i Do Not Know. because i Do Not Care.#i'm telling you that the people i was around and the kinds of things i read AND SUPPORTED while i was here #were things that ultimately made huge biases in my brain Specifically against people who were Not Like Me. which is a bad thing.
